Everything was just an average spoons, nothing to write home about but did it's job perfectly, wouldn't go out my way to go here but I'm glad it's there.

Wetherspoons #117 visited.A rather small branch situated off the main shopping district of Queen Street, with an outside 'beer garden' situated at the back of the pub.A handy location for Queen St Railway Station, situated nearby.Although the pub was not the largest visited on my trip to Cardiff, they did seem to make an effort with the range of guest beers on.I've often found on my travels that the smaller branches tend to make more of an effort in all areas of service and food, than many of the larger, more popular branches.Opted for a pint of Oakham Bite The Bullet, which was in good condition.Did not sample food on this occasion, as had breakfast at the Prince of Wales branch earlier in the day.Worth a visit, if in the area!

Best place for pre - and post-match atmosphere. Despite being so busy, the staff here work so hard to keep the food and drink coming. It is appreciated!
