Best Chinese Takeaway in Cardiff by a mile. Reluctant to write this review as we'd rather keep it a secret! Great, consistent food and lovely staff always.

Our favourite Chinese ever!!! We have been going here for years and it never disappoints! Large portions, packed with flavour and real Chinese style food! I absolutely adore the salt and chilli chicken. It’s 100% the best Chinese in the area.

I left Cardiff in 2017 when Top Oriental Chinese takeaway was one of the best places for great food. We had 2 meals this evening, a king prawn chow main which was tasteless and a lot of the noodles were clumped together. Also chicken with vegetables. The vegetables were over cooked and the sauce far too salty to eat. Even the prawn crackers we ordered were hard and not nice. Sorry won't be going back again, a waste of £23

Unfortunately, ordered a takeaway which included sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper chicken, pancake rolls, fried rice and chips…The food was tasteless and didn’t even taste like Chinese food..The food was very disappointing and needed to complain

We had various Chinese meals along with the usual chips and rice. Let’s be honest the meals were pleasant and reasonably priced it won’t blow you away but worth a try. Parking is a nightmare due to location. If you want a reasonable Chinese at a fair price go for it

Best Chinese by far, always hot and fresh with no grease. Only downfall is delivery can take long because they’re so busy but that’s a good thing I suppose!

Being somewhat disappointed with our normal choice of Chinese takeaway and having tried others we decided to give the Top Oriental in Birchgrove a go. We ordered when they opened being greeted very professionally by a member of staff who efficiently took our order. We requested that our meal be delivered to our home some 3 miles away ASAP we were advised this would be in 45 minutes. The food arrived early and hot being delivered again professionally and politely. The best was yet to come my wife, guest and myself were all in agreement that this was one of the best (if not the best) Chinese takeaway we have had. The food was plentiful and more to the point full of taste. It is said the proof of the pudding (in the case the Chinese meal) is in the eating! This being the case we were more than satisfied in all aspects of the service and the food provided - Excellent. We will be returning??
