Lovely little place serving great food. Nice relaxed atmosphere, very clean and well laid out. You can actually see the food being cooked on the charcoal grill, we were sat right by it!4 big lads we all enjoyed the Troy special mixed grill in the photo. It wasn't as big as it read on the menu, but that was a good thing as we were all stuffed from it! Turkish beer was good too.Would recommend this place to anyone.

Visited twice, both bad. First visit, was one of the only tables there at lunchtime as who we think is the owner/manager screamed down the phone to some sort of electric or phone company about bills. This went on for a while and he didn't seem bothered by us. Our second visit was part of a larger group. This time sat and watched as the person on grill (which is right in the middle of the restaurant) sat and cooked our food, the whole time staring at his phone as it looked like he was betting on football! Seeming to get annoyed by orders coming in . The food we were served was a lot smaller than our previous visit a few months ago, perhaps half the size. Although quiet food was so slow. It took so long to get our lamb cooking and we watched it cook for far longer than needed. They have cocktail menus for their new bar upstairs on the tables, we asked the staff how to get to the bar as there didn't seem to be any stairs upstairs. Rather than answering they went and checked with the manager if it was open, he said yes and to take us up. We followed the waiter through the toilets which was odd and out a fire exit, at first thinking it would be perhaps a secret bar. But no, they took us through a dirty kitchen, the stairs had beer boxes and rubbish on and we had to walk passed another staff member sitting on these stairs in the dark! The waiter ran up ahead and turned the lights on. We followed to a closed and dark bar, we said we'd not bother but they told us someone would be with us soon so we sat alone in silence. We waited 10mins and another member of staff ran up, asked us to wait as he got the bar ready. We waited longer in silence and finally ordered some cocktails, hoping to enjoy their advertised happy hour. We were then told they stopped doing cocktails, as me and my partner held a full cocktail menus! He said he could serve us spirits and beer but not cocktails despite the bar being covered in cocktail equipment and even more cocktail menus. Cocktails advertised on a screen, menus on every table and a poster outside. We left for Cosy Lounge. We won't return.

Never let me down. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent staff. Love it. I always sit at the counter. No pretension. No need for it. Just quality. (Note please it is a Meze Bar. If you didn’t want to see meat cooking on the grill you should have read the sign.)

Would not recommend. Tapas size portions. Ridiculously over priced.Struggled to even get through door due to a large party of people left in the doorway clueless.

I'm not one to leave bad reviews. I don't think I've ever left a bad review in my life..But after this evening, I can't not.We booked a table for 6pm. First of all when we arrived, we were left just stood by the doorway for roughly 10-15 mins. There was 8 of us, so as you can imagine, it was quite hectic with customers coming in and out. When we finally got seated, we ordered 2 hot meze shares which stated would be enough for 3 people. When they arrived, they had 2 bits of hallumi, 2 falafel, a spring roll type thing and 2 tiny Feta triangles..in the centre was a small dollop of hummus. Definitely not worth the money and everything on the platter we thought to be rather bland. Onto the mains, we ordered 2 mixed grills, 3 lamb shishs and a special lamb dish with Aubergine sauce. Well, I have never ever been so utterly disappointed. The lamb dishes were just 4 small pieces of lamb just thrown onto a plate next to a tiny portion of rice..the mixed grills were tasteless and didn't come with what was stated on the menu. They were also absolutely tiny. Not even enough to feed a child. The special lamb dish with the Aubergine sauce was bland and there was nothing special about it. The 4 small pieces of lamb were just thrown on top of a salty sauce. There was no Aubergine in site.We had a few soft drinks and a few beers. Our bill come to a whopping £217.I'd avoid this place at all costs.

Very disappointed. Went out for my husbands birthday, portions were tapas sizes and very over priced. Also, we struggled to get past a large group of people that were just left looking clueless in the doorway. Also, was very plain. Not much flavour. Do not recommend at all and we will not be returning.
