Popped in for a Guiness for Paddys Day..as staying near by. Lovely welcoming staff. Lovely friendly atmosphere, very relaxing. Nothing too much trouble!

Very disappointed after a 6km walk to the highly rated most northerly pub in Wales to see that it was closed.Google maps and your Facebook page stated you would be open today from 11am, this needs updating to avoid further disappointment. We were around until around 1pm and even phoned to check if you would soon be open, no answer so we headed back on the return 6km walk ?If your opening hours are different out of season please update online.Yours faithfully,A very thirsty Karen

Love The Stag! Always a warm welcome & the seafood baskets are amazing value & taste GREAT! They often have live music which brings a fun crowd!Parking: Best to park in the main car park behind the high street (free) & walk down to the pub.

Can't recommend this place enough! ❤️ Absolutely beautiful pub with the best people. We were in Cemaes Bay for a couple of weeks in December - my husband and I travelled through from Manchester, sister in law caught the ferry to Holyhead from Dublin and on from there and my brother travelled through from the South - good meetup spot for all of us over Christmas! This pub was a real gem of a find near where we were staying and we visited a good few times during our stay. Landlord Gwyn was SO lovely and friendly to us all and we all thoroughly enjoyed going here! All bar staff were really friendly and lovely. Dog friendly too which was a big plus since my sister in law had her two dogs with. Beautiful food too! Thank you so much for your hospitality and hope we'll be back soon!!!

Great local pub with decent pub grub. I was on my walk around Anglesey with my dog, we were made feel very welcomed by Landlord Gwyn after a couple hard days walk in the wind and rain. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks, Tom and

Visited whilst we wrre staying in the area. Lovely place and both dog and human friendly. Good priced drinks.Food was excellent quality and also well priced, especially with the deals they had on. Went for the weekly quiz too, which was great fun. We were really made to feel welcome. We will be returning next year.

We popped in for a quick pint & stayed all evening. Gwyn & Maddie were fabulous hosts, and the locals welcomed us to their table. Beer & food were fantastic. Wonderful people & a brilliant place.

Highly recommend this public house. Great landlord and staff. Warm and friendly. Well kept real ale and dog friendly. Don't know about food as not dined in there.

Looks nice but was closed. Arrived at 1230. Website says opens at 1200. Everything closed in Cemaes in fact. You’d think the tourist trade was important, but…

Beer tiptop, Landlord and locals friendly. Coal fire to warm us during a blustery and damp week. Highly recommended
