Arrived at 2.30 for Sunday lunch, didn’t eat until after 3pm food was ok ‘well done’ shall we say. Lemonade was flat and manager did change it but said it was ‘fine’Won’t be keen to return I’m afraid

Returned with my family, nine of us altogether. Last visit food and service were both very good. Today arrived before our agreed time of two o’clock and waited nearly one our to get our food. By the time we waited for the sweet, we had been there for almost three hours. Quality of food nothing like the last visit, extremely poor and bland, not once did any of the staff showed any welcome or even a smile. A cola for one of the children was just like coloured water, which was replaced with an identical one. My seasonal fruit pie was warmed up in a microwave and resulted in a soggy, tasteless mess. What was also annoying was seeing some people being served before us even though they had arrived later than us.My feelings are that in an attempt to expand the dining area, the increased volume of customers were too many to cope with.I can only hope that this once excellent venue return to its original excellent venue. Until then neither I or a number of other customers will not be returning.

Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch here. Friendly, hard working staff, good beers, and a delicious vegan nut roast. The only negative I can think of is that one of the ales had gone off, so I was immediately given a different choice. The car park was tricky as it is so popular. We were really impressed.

Stumbled across this place due to staying near by, and we took a chance and booked a table for dinner on Saturday. Well I'm so glad we did as the food/service was amazing! What impressed us the most was the effort and standard of food for our son's main. Usually children meals get plonked on the plate and is a poor standard of food. There's an Excellent range of beer/cider too.

Highly recommend this gem of a pub for Sunday lunch. Our Family of four arrived at the The Farmers Arms after a long journey back from North Wales. The meals were absolutely amazing! Both Adult and Children’s sized portions area available. Beef, Pork or Lamb or a nut roast were on the menu. Prices were clearly shown for one, two or three courses. We decided on beef and pork the meals were fantastic, served piping hot, the meat melted in your mouth, potatoes were tasty as was the gravy (extra gravy was served in a boat) vegetables broccoli, peas, carrots and cauliflower cheese were brought in serving dishes to help yourself all piping hot and cooked to perfection. The staff serving were very friendly and the toilets clean - cannot recommend a stop to eat at this pub enough - would give more stars if available!

What a little hidden gem! We was staying at Cwmdu campsite (a short walk away) and decided to try the pub for a roast! It was delicious, extra gravy & cauliflower cheese with a selection of 3 veggies! All of us had a pudding - which was also yummy! Great portion sizes! Dog friendly too! They also offer discount if you are staying at this campsite ?️

We had booked Sunday lunch but also popped in for a drink a couple of days before. It was pretty empty, but come Sunday, the bar and restaurant were rammed! People were queuing at the bar! The Sunday lunch is excellent. What I’m sure was homemade nut roast is so obviously bursting with nuts that it’s hard to cut and is so delicious. My husband said the beef was great. I ordered a coffee to finish, but this was delayed as it was explained by the young lady who seemed to be manager on the day, that they’d run out of milk but her dad was bringing some over. Such a lovely, personal touch Nice, friendly ambiance. We really enjoyed our visits. It’s dog friendly too

This pub is very friendly and welcoming. We were looking for a quick meal on a long journey. We certainly were not disappointed. The food was of a great quality, cooked well and the staff could not be more helpful. The prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this pub and will be returning again.
