Absolutely delish! We thought it was cooked with expertise, spicing just right for each dish. For us probably the best cooking locally.

We had a family meal at the Red Indigo. They offered the pod outside which I was abit dubious because of the weather I was very much mistake it was lovely and warm with Bluetooth for our own music. The service was excellent and the food superb. We were All very impressed and will certainly come there again.well Done to all members of staff.

Had really nice meal in this lovely restaurant. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Food was exceptionally good, onion bahji starter was delicious and the chicken passanda was one of the best I’ve had. The place is modern and clean. Had a really cool dome outside dining pod which can be booked for special occasions. I will definitely be back when over in Crickhowell again!

The best Indian meal we have ever had! Recommend by a friend. The menu has so much choice. There were 4 of us eating and we all chose a different dish and tried out each others food. The tastes were all amazing.

We have been coming here for years. However, it has gone downhill over that time. The food we had last night was simply horrible. 5 star to just about 1 star.

Excellent food and good service. Ambience a bit lacking but mainly because not many people there. The only other occupied table was very loud and a bit distracting.

A busy and popular restaurant for dining in and taking out. Nicely decorated and the serving staff are polite and attentive. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious and well presented. The new chairs in part of the restaurant look nice (with the exception of the former diner's crumbs) but might prove to be a bit of a squeeze for some. The reason I didn't give a Very Good (4) rating is that each time we have visited payment in full or part has been in cash. On one occasion payment was taken at the table and the waiter never returned with the change. Another occasion, where the tip had been added before the bill was split between my friend and I, I was asked, when the cashier was challenged, "Did you want the change?", and on the occasion tonight, I was short-changed again which resulted in another challenge and the restaurant losing their usual tip. I DO recommend visiting, the food is great but please check that you're not being over-charged or short-changed. I'm sure the cashier is only following direction given by the restaurant management/owner.

The staff was very polite and helpful, the food was absolutely beautiful. We was situated in the globe outside which was a fab experience. Fair priced and very accommodating, thank you ☺️

We had been once before but have recently been back to Red Indigo twice in a month, both times on aTuesday evening around 9pm. On what might be a “down night” for many eateries, there were other diners in the restaurant which gave a good ambience. The staff are very welcoming, the decor more modern than other places and the menu included all the usuals plus a good selection of house specialities. The chicken chat masala was particularly tasty. Prices were reasonable too. Can highly recommend.

Second time here & we really enjoyed the experience again. Food was imaginative & we enjoyed everything. Service is very good too, with advice given when required.

Really busy with restaurant diners and takeaway orders with just one chap front of houseful who did splendidly. Takeaway for 8 - hadn't telephoned in advance (couldn't find a menu online, half a point off for that) so had to wait 30 minutes - OK. 4 meat mains, 4 veg mains, 4 rice and 4 naan with free poppadoms and chutneys for under £100. And the quality was fantastic. Brilliant - thank you.

Visited Red Indigo on a reccomendation from a colleage whilst on business in the area. I arrived a few minutes before opening but already there was a queue of what turned out to be two other tables waiting to get in, on a Wednesday night! A promising start I thought. When the resturant opended I was quickly shown to a table and drinks and poppadom orders were taken. A little dissapointed that there was no Kingfisher on tap but they did have it in bottles which I ordered. Theres no decor to speak of in the resturant, which is set in a very old building that might have once been several cottages. There is a 'snug' style room where one group were dining which looked a nice touch. As I was browsing the extensive menu more guests started to arrive and just a mere 40 minutes after opening the resturant was full. Another indication of how highly the locals regard this place. I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, boiled rice and a garlic naan. I do not exaggerate when I say that the curry was the best I've eaten in the UK. The lamb was cooked to perfection; soft and falling apart. The Rogan Josh itself was well flavoured and presented, and I could not resist mopping up every last bit with the naan. Its a shame that I live several hundred miles away from this place as I would eat here time and time again.
