Frozen chips for a fiver!!!! Really? Very disappointed. No sign regards the step down into the ladies loo. Almost snaped my ankle. Tim Taylors beer excellent. Staff pleasant.

Avoid at all costs. Visited for the Sunday roast after a hike, and it was the worst Sunday roast I’ve ever had. Went for the pork and it was completely inedible, it had a bizarre soapy taste I don’t quite understand. Not sure if it was gone off or what was wrong with it, but it didn’t taste like pork. When we told the staff they initially agreed it didn’t taste right, but then tried to claim that it was because it was because it was shoulder rather than loin (it didn’t taste like pork at all). The rest of the roast was pretty mediocre, Yorkshire puds were pure stodge, vegetables all overcooked. Very disappointed.

A friendly, welcoming old pub serving a good pinto of Timothy Taylor's Landlord.

Lovely old pub serving nice food, on a pretty street with nice traditional shops adjacent and opposite. Lovely flowers on the exterior walls and pavement seating with tables to enjoy food and drink in the sunshine and watch the world go by. They often have bands playing live music too.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access to bar via main entrance with a small step down of a couple of inches. A ramp slopes to a smaller eating area to the left along the bar.

We had Sunday lunch in this lovely friendly and welcoming pub in the heart of Crickhowell today. Great value, wonderful roast beef and all the trimmings. We'll definitely be back and recommend highly. Thank you!

Absolutely superb, choice of food was very good and reasonably priced. Beautiful surroundings and the staff were very helpful. Lovely Welsh hospitality in a rural Casey setting. Have eaten here before and never had any issues. Not sure regarding some of the negative comments other than every establishment must have an off day I guess.
What a great pub. Good food, just had a Massive New Yorker Butger and fries, with onion rings, slaw and salad on a wooden platter. Excellent fresh coffee too and I had a freezing cold Desperado with a chunk or lime. This was mid afternoon too, on a Wednesday. Do not eat anywhere else in Crick, especially the Bear, which is mediocre if you're lucky and top dolkar. We were made most welcome on artival,by a lovely chap behind the Bar, not sure if he was the landlord. Setvice was fast and accurate. Well done all at the Britannia you made our day. Da iawn, we'll be back in numbers next time, for sure. Top banana ?

Lovely place to eat. Sunday lunch is my recommendation. Garden area available. The town is a good place to visit with bespoke shops. Some nice walks around the river, and if you're more energetic there's the table mountain to conker.

The first review I have ever left and I’ve run my own pub for twenty years next month. Just such a lovely place to spend an hour or two in. Definitely felt like a family business, and for a slow quiet Monday they were still smiling and very friendly which was appreciated. Food was great, the ale (TTlandlord), the wine, and the whiskey were all perfect. It was great value, if anything I would say too inexpensive for the business to make the margins that they should be in 2023 to reflect the love and effort that they put into their livelihoods!Cracking pub with great staff, including the youngest of the crew at about 2 or 3 yo. Not working but still adding a great family vibe to the place. Well done and thank you!

We spontaneously went out for something to eat here, the baguettes were very tasty and the bread looked like it was freshly baked ? There were also small side dishes and a colaPrice performance very good - clear recommendation ??
