A very nice place for a coffee. It appears unassuming, but the coffee is excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Stopped for a coffee and two teas. All ok very quiet so can't judge service .

Had a nice lunch, friendly, helpful staff. Big menu choice! Lovely, crispy chips! I had ham, egg and chips. Eggs cooked beautifully. It wasn't 'proper thick ham', but nice enough thin ham. My friend had lasagne & chips, said it was delicious ? They have seats inside and out, as it was a nice day we sat outside.Dietary restrictions: I'm wheat & gluten intolerant, which they catered for.

Just had lunch. It was OK but no toilet. A lady came in with her kid for the loo but not able to go as no toilet! I'm sure this is against the law! But the food was nice and quickly

Went in for tea and a short cake for 2, you can take the cake back to the table with you and the waitress will bring the tea by the time we had the tea we had finished the short cake, but the tea was fine as was the cake but it would have been nice to have them together.

First time here, lovely little cafe with friendly and quick service. Spotlessly clean. Definitely go again

Only thing wrong eith the cafe is that the floor tiles are a bit slippery. Service and food are fabulous

Not good value but the only cafe open on boxing day. Butter packets in my beans with the wrappers still on

Nice cafe tho found that staff within had very or no interaction with customers verbally. Tables cleared very quickly just an impression of not being allowed to interact.

Probably the worst cafe I have been to in a long time. Bits of black dirt in the cups, other people's food on the saucers, coffee that tastes worse than the instant stuff I have at home and tea that tastes off would be bad enough if they didn't argue back about it.Not surprised people spotted them using asda tea bags, I wouldn't make that for my enemies.

We visited the cafe today and were most disappointed. My mother ordered an earl grey tea, which is advertised as twinings earl grey. It was £2.30 a cup, which is fine. My mum specifically asked for twinings and was told thats ok. When it was made, we noticed they were using asda teabags, which my mum has tried before and doesn't like (and are also not worth £2.30 a cup, even in a cafe). When my mum asked for it to be swapped, the staff argued and talked about her loud enough so that we (who were sat across the other side of the cafe), and undoubtedly other customers could hear. The waiter returned insiting the tea bags were exactly the same as twinings and it didnt matter. We let him know we could hear them arguing and we weren't happy. It was only when my mother asked for a refund that they offered her the twinings. Complete false advertisement and unprofessional. Easily could have been solved by serving the tea they had on display. Rude staff, poor service. Avoid.

This has recently become our go to place for a breakfast and coffee. Everything was served promptly and was piping hot. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good selection on the menu and some lovely looking cakes on display. Good value food and drink.
