I would like to thank the staff at the Premier Inn and Ashbridge Restaurant for making my stay so enjoyable. They were all so pleasant and courteous and very helpful when, as an elderly lady of 83 I asked for help with modern technology. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. My only comment would be an armchair in the room would have been welcome. I would certainly stay with you again. Thank you all.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable although as I am only 5ft tall the bed was rather high (a small step would be helpful. ha, ha)Food & drinks: The food at the Ashbridge Restaurant was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and courteous.

The hotel is in a fairly good location but the main thing to talk of in this hotel were the rooms were extremely comfortable and the staff were out of this world they went above and beyond to make our stay specialRooms: The rooms are extremely comfortable we stayed in a wheelchair accessible room which for my bariatric wheelchair access was not brilliant but the room was extremely comfortable and well laid out in saying that I believe the hotel is being upgraded next year 2024Nearby activities: Nearby activities there are plenty you're not far from Cardiff you're not far from big pits and also in Cwmbran itself there is plenty to do and see we went to the canal where there was a lovely little cafe and sat by the canal having Welsh cake and a cup of teaWalkability: As a disabled person we work on the ground floor the only problem I had was getting through the door from reception to the corridor for the rooms but the staff were very quick to come out and help me with this then getting from the hotel to the restaurant the floor was quite even and these are the accessible for my wheelchairFood & drinks: Food and drinks are available in the pub next door and I can comfortably say the breakfast and the evening meal were first class and the service was fantastic

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting relatives and found the Inn really clean and the staff extremely helpful would definitely stay here

Quite clean and tidy, but I wouldn't describe it as good value. Booked for work reasons at fairly short notice, but I wouldn't pay the asking rate for leisure. Regular trains running close by that are noticeable at night in some rooms close to the railwat line. Lovely staff that were very friendly. Plenty of parking out the back. Free wi-fi is a waste of time. But surprise, surprise, if you pay you can get improved download. Non existent mobile signal, so it's an Internet desert.

The female on reception was entirely rude from the off set. The room needed cleaning, and was far from clean during my stay. There is no lift, no facilities.Location is good and there is good parking.
I was met with an abrupt and rude reception staff member. She was off hand, no care and attention offered. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience. She was so rude and challenging about trying to book breakfast, I ate elsewhere. The team could not manage to offer towels or correct ones during the stay. The bathroom had cobwebs behind the door on arrival and they did not move during my visit. The room was dusty throughout. The curtains were marked with blood. The reception staff that was at check in, was ongoingly rude and made it difficult to challenge or discuss anything. There was no lift, the location was Ok if you are happy listening to traffic all night. You would also really need a car to get around.

The lady on reception went above what we would call good service. Her name is Pamela and an amazing receptionist who represents the brand exceptionally. Pamela attempted to phone another hotel which I have found difficult to contact for many weeks, Pamela had the same dead end as I did, but tried her hardest.

We chose this hotel as we were meeting up with friends and weren’t disappointed. The hotel had a large accessible car park and the restaurant at the hotel was comfortable and very pleasant staff took care of our needs. One of our group was in a wheelchair but this didn’t present a problem as it was wheelchair friendly. The food was simple but well presented and the breakfast was also good. All in all it was a good experience and good value.

Good sized room & very clean. Had free amenities such as parking & WiFi. Staff were accommodating on our very late arrival. Room was well presented & modern. Breakfast was an additional charge, but very nice.

Wanted a comfy room for a break. We got everything we wanted, clean, comfortable, with helpful friendly staff. Restaurant was right next door and served wonderful food with great staff. We'll return again!!
