Disappointed with our collect meal this evening.The chicken in the madras sauce was tough, and the chips were not fresh, they'd been warmed up and were not nice at all.I think it's time to try somewhere else.

I ordered food through JustEat from this place and they sent me gone off meat. I still have a very upset stomach and it has disturbed my plans for the day!

Had the lamb rogan and a lamb curry, oh my gosh it was good, lovely flavour. And the prettiest rice I've ever had. Chips were good too. Had to wait a bit longer due to the driver getting a bit lost. But he,was friendly and apologised.

We've tried every Indian takeaway in Cwmbran since moving here 12 months ago and always been disappointed. However, the Zaffran Express is a different story. The food was fresh, with lovely rich flavours and delivered hot. Great menu to suit everyone's tastes. Wish we'd discovered these guys 12 months ago !! Will be returning again soon.

Tried zaffran last week for first time.. Great curry.. repeat this week. and ordered onion salad and mint sauce as not included.. 80p for a couple of onions.. onion salad and mint sauce free from most places.. no free couple of poppadoms this week..The little extras make the difference..Come on zaffran. Great food but need the extras to compete

Upon my first visit, the manager/owner recommended that I try the Zaffran Special.As in its write-up, slightly hot, but oh my goodness, the flavour of the meal was amazing. It's very tasty, and I highly recommend you try it (unless you like your curry, very mild, korma flavour). The premises were very presentable, and the gentleman that took my order was extremely polite and presentable.Yes, it is well worth a visit.And on a final note. Their prices for their meals are very competitive.Vegetarian options: Sorry, but I'm not a vegetarian. But their are items on the menu that should satisfy vegetarians.Parking: It is your typical high street parking with the option of Public Car Parking 20-50 yards away

The previous reviews on here appear to be of the old Indian that was there before this.Zaffran opened yesterday and my oh my the food is amazing. The staff are lovely and so accommodating. I avoided yesterday as I knew it was going to be busy but I went today and the food was delicious.Biryani’s are a must try! And those chicken pakoras.10/10 recommend this place to all my friends and families. Get yourselves down there!
