Very tasty, lovely pub. Super nice and very friendly ladies. We'd love to come back here. We had a lot of fun. Now we're staying overnight with our campervan.

We had both dinner one night and were there for the Sunday Roast. This was some of the best pub food we have ever had. The menu had just about everything you could want. The bangers and mash was wonderful. The Sunday Roast was a cut above most other pubs might offer. The staff, on both nights, were warm, fast, and cheerful. This pub is located in a very out of the way location. Please take the time to find this jewel.

Wonderful village pub. Visited whilst staying at the nearby campsite.Friendly staff and locals. Small menu but the food is amazing. Not served every night in the week as it's a quiet area so check before making any plans. Don't hold this against the place though, they're doing a very good job at serving quality food and beer in a difficult time for places like this. One of very few small traditional pubs still surviving, so please support it if you are visiting the area.

Fabulous food, especially Sunday Roast, they were so accommodating as we had not booked, Hospitality, Atmosphere, Welcome, the same, fabulous, can't recommend Ty Gwyn enough. It's also got a lovely sense of community.Staff so friendly, xParking: Not lots but enough, remember these areas were not made for the amount of cars we have today. We went for the Hospitality not the parking .

We were staying at Glyn Isa nearby, we were recommended to go here to eat by out Hosts. Wow, Sunday Lunch was amazing, everything you would expect when you think of a Sunday Roast, well cooked food, local Welsh Beef, fab Vedge, Yorkshire Pud, oh it was gorgeous . There was a great atmosphere, a comfortable, warm welcome from the Friendly owners and Staff , it was like going to a Friends house for Lunch. All I can say is go, booking recommended though , Enjoy X

As a pub this place is lovely and quaint with nice staff and beautiful scenery. As a restaurant the food is extremely over priced for the basic meals we received. The menu on arrival was a poor JW Lees menu rather than the seemingly high quality menu they have on the website, which was then made worse by the fact we only had four options by the time they’d gone through the list of unavailable items on a Saturday night. Considering we’d booked for 10 people several months before, this should have never been the case. The bar staff were lovely however the lady cooking was rude and very much under the assumption we were happy to compromise on the service because we were “young” (we are all late 20’s, not that it should have any significance to anyones customers service). When we sat down she said she would serve us once she’d got other tables with less people out the way. She then sat in someone’s seat to take our order while he stood with his drink waiting for her to move. By the time we got to order there was barely anything left so 6/10 of us had the same meal. Throughout the meal she was pointing out to other tables who we were and telling them she’d get round to us eventually. 45 minutes after our meal was cleared she finally offered us some desserts even though we’d asked several times and she’d been serving other tables before us, again there was only three options left, with one having only one piece available. The food was extremely poor quality for the price however we could all tell this would be the case as soon as we saw the actual menu rather than the one advertised. We all completely understand this is a small village pub however for visiting people it is not advertised as such so is a disappointment upon arrival.

Classic village pub. Walked in on a Saturday night and got a table for dinner in the bar area, it was bustling with people speaking Welsh.Lamb Shank was delicious. Biscoff cheesecake for pudding was nice too. The landlady was nice and friendly.
