“This is an edit, local to us the Mill Tavern has always been great but alas this evening it let us down, we arrived at 17.30 to have a couple of pints and then order food which is advertised as served until 8pm outside and in with menu's on the tables but when we tried to order at 1800 we were told the are no longer doing food but only for today which for us was a massive inconvenience and quite disappointing for us, I hope this isn't how it'll be run in the future. I understand staffing can be hard but when we arrived people were eating and we took a menu from the bar, if they were closing early surely they should have let us know, take the menu's off of tables,, and pull the large sign in from outside the premises. Just basic housekeeping. We will revisit but I'm not sure when”

“I had lunch and a hot chocolate. The food was perfect! Nicola catered to my intolerance to dairy and the homemade food was delicious. I had a hot chocolate made by with oat milk, by Dawn. What a treat! The prices are good and I will definitely be coming back!”
