a really pleasant pub, the staff are excellent especially Zowie ! you never have to wait to be served even if they are busy, she knows every one drink how she knows that is beyond me , always has a smile on her face , & a good laugh & at weekends she entertains customers with her dancing! a little gem of a bar maid , i can't stress enough of how good she is , come down to the George & enjoy a good night it is a pleasure to drink in there it really is .

We had a Fantastic night. The landlady has a great sense of humour. And makes you feel relaxed and welcome as do the staff. Great pint of Guinness. Will be visiting more often. The band freefalling were fantastic aswell.

A very good pub ran by Lynne. Its a very friendly community pub and has a great atmosphere to those who are not local as well.Definitely worth a visit and arrive as guests and leave as a freind.The staff are all lovely and can't do enough for you.
