Came here the other day with two of my mates. As soon as we walked through the doo we could tell that this place wouldn’t be up to much, but we have it a chance. We walked in and the bartender just stared at us, not even greeting us. We sat down and then we had to go up to the bar to even get a menu. The menu had to be the most run down thing I had ever seen (apart from the actual pub) the menu was limited and was just a laminated piece of paper which was ruined. After a while we got served, the woman who served us was extremely rude all she said was “what do you want for food” in a horrible tone not even offering us drinks so we had the food with not drinks, so we went up to the bar to order drinks, the girl who served us drinks was lovely but the other woman was horrible. The food was average (gammon was more salty than the sea) the pub itself was run down and the service was awful. Wouldn’t recommend

A few of us went for food, it was a lovely atmophere. Staff were very attentive. I had lamb chops and they were fantastic good prices for food and aspels 4.20 cant go wrong. Would deffinately recommended a visit.

My brother in law and family were staying with us and they wanted to eat out. I suggested we visit the Tafarn Y Trap. We frequently eat at the Tafarn. As usual, the food was hot and truly delicious. The waitress was lovely, really chatty, patient and friendly. The bar staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The price we paid was very reasonable for what we had. Did we have any complaints - none whatsoever. Will we be eating again at the Tafarn - too right. My brother in law could not stop raving about his dining experience, he and his family loved it. If you get the chance, give the Tafarn a try, I promise you you won't be disappointed.
