The Harlech castle cafe is located at visitor's centre just on the way out to the castle on the right hand side.\\n\\nIt is great place for a quick bite with good selection of home made cakes, breakfast, lunch menus and veriery of hot and cold drinks.\\n\\nThe food there is delicious, the views through the windows are beautiful and atmosphere so homely.\\n\\nThe staff is very polite and friendly.\\n\\nUnfortunately no dogs allowed in the cafe, only on the terrace.\\n\\nAlso, maximum 4 people per table.\\n\\nThe place is very covid aware.\\n\\nPay \\u0026 display car park is just outside of the visitor centre for 30 spaces.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Very little choice and Gluten Free was limited to a tuna toastie. Great view of the castle, but, it’s a shame the food was of poor quality and very expensive. Half a small baguette Rarebite, a toasted tuna sandwich, a coffee and a tea were over £20.

Lovely little cafe opposite the castle. Would be a glorious view but on a overcast rainy day the view wasnt very good as you can see from the video. Coffee cake was nice and the coffee isn't at all bad if not the hottest coffee iv evdn consumed.Staff friendly enough would recommend a visit
It is not the fault of the Caffi Castell that a man with a walkitalki greets you at the entrance and talks through to the lady at food counter, to ask if seating available. It's just the covid requirements for entry. There is a strict one way system once inside (use the wc as you enter as you can't go there once inside and seated.. No retracing steps!) Order food at the counter and go to your allocated seat/table to await your food, which arrives in box and cardboard cup. No lovely China serving which this place is known for.\\nI was given a seat outside with lovely view of the castle. Bacon and brie toastie came with salad and coleslaw in its box and was very good. Earl gray tea in cardboard cup.\\nThe staff were all very friendly and sympathetic of the government restrictions they are having to abide by. Apart from roped off access areas to the Caffi and Castle grounds, the system worked efficiently so full marks to them all.\\nTown Public loos were locked so important to get your needs sorted in right order as no freedom on spur of moment. ?

Stunning Views and easy to access Can just inside the visitor centre. Freshly prepared Cafe Menu and staff always there with a smile and freshly baked Cakes. Nothing to fault and a cafe I would go back to time and time again. Great asset to Harlech :)

Visit Portmeirion and stayed at Barmouth few days. Find this cafe next to castle with amazing views.\\nVery delicious homemade cakes, all made by a lovely girl who served us at cafe. And scones oh my gosh, you have to try them. Perfect, great experience.
