AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Pulled into what looked like a lovely pub for breakfast. Turned up at 11.03am to be told breakfast finished at 11am, absolutely understandable. We were told by the staff member, the cafe across the road sold breakfast until 11.30, so decided to pop over there to feed my pregnant wife's cravings. We had planned to go back into the pub for a drink after and was also going to even book an evening meal for that evening. I popped to my van to get a water bowl for my dog when I saw I large screw placed statistically under my wheel, perfectly placed so when I drove off it would puncture my tyre. We had only been parked up for half hour.I can imagine they get a lot of tourists parking in their car park without using their facilities which must be very frustrating. However to consciously sabotage someone's property and endanger my pregnant wife and child's life, I'm absolutely DISGUSTED!!!!! We were driving home that evening too, via the motorway, thank god I spotted it. Who knows what could have happened if my tyre had blown out!!I popped in after having a few hours to gather my thoughts and just explain how different the situation could have ended if i hadnt spotted it! I approached the staff member who couldn't apologise enough, who stated it was just them and the landlord in! They "couldn't believe the landlord would stoop that low".I rarely ever make a fuss, but some things need to be addressed and I hope this situation is dealt with in a SAFER way next time! Idiot!Parking: Use car park with caution, landlord will attempt to slash tyres.

Stayed recently with a family member who has walking difficulties. We were given ground floor rooms with good access. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. We had breakfast and two evening meals which were really good.Kid-friendliness: Childrens meals, high chairs and pool table available. Staff were very kind and even taught my grandson to play poolWheelchair accessibility: Good access at main entrance and a side entrance which is wide and flat and leads directly to ground floor rooms

I brought a group of 30 people on a church outing I was reading to the Grove Hotel for an evening meal arranged in advance. Everything worked very well and nothing could’ve been too much trouble. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and our group had a very good time. Thank you!

A warm friendly welcome from bar staff. A great selection on the menu. We enjoyed a delicious meal. Would definitely go back the next time we’re in St David’s and recommend the hotel to others.

I have never posted a poor review before but this hotel is under staffed, tired and dirty. The food was awful. I dont blame what staff there were, I blame the owners - Marstons. I am trying to be generous with my star rating. I have tried to call back twice as per the response but the phone just rang off - no staff, I guess!

We do not recommend this hotel. The first room stunk of wet rot, the second room, (newly decorated) had mould on the bathroom window, which had been there for weeks if not months.

I booked 4 rooms earlier this year for a stay in September but cancelled them by email in July. Imagine how surprised I was that the hotel took the money for the rooms this morning - as far as I’m concerned that borders on theft!!! I’ve spoken to 2 people about it today but still heard nothing back - very worrying I would say

The worst Sunday lunch I have had in a long time! We arrive early for lunch time, to be told no pigs in blankets and no half chickens. The decaf coffee is from a sachet but charged at premium price, my girlfriends vegetarian meal came out with meat gravy and the standard of the food was a disgrace no mashed potato even though it's advertised as part of the meal although the thimble amount of gravy would have made eating the microwave stodge unbearable .Frozen everything. Everything tasted like water. Absolute waste of money. SACK THE "CHEF" AND BIN THE MICROWAVE. JOKE OF A PLACE.
