Visited the castle and restaurant today. Despite being single handed very busy Adam was outstanding. The food was delicious, freshly prepared by him. Many people came in while we were there and were all treated with curtosy and friendliness.

Really fabulous tapas, obviously totally homemade and very tasty. Slow cooked lamb was the biggest hit but all were great. If we lived near here we would be back once a week.

Nice little place to stop at whilst visiting the castle. A good variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: Lots of different options for vegetarians. I can recommend the warm beetroot and goat cheese salad.Kid-friendliness: Large paninis with different fillings and sides perfect for hungry and picky children.

We stopped here for lunch while visiting Picton Castle gardens. I had a tuna melt panini which came with the most gorgeous side salad I have ever had in my life. My son wanted to swap some of my panini for his salad and I gladly obliged. I could have eaten a plate of that salad alone, it was delightful. Also tried some aubergine and lime cake which was also really good.

This was meant to be a quick lunch ,took ages ,and very expensive, 2 coffees 1 water ,1 ham sandwich with a bit of salad and 2 pieces of cake was £37 . No one told us there was an extra £5 on top of the £12.50 entry charge to have a guided tour of the house so all we were able to see was 3 rooms took all of ten minutes though the room guides were very nice and told us a lot. Evidently the information re tours is on the opposite side of the path just before the shed you pay at and obviously where we were all looking as 3 of us all missed it,it would have helped if the person in the shed had asked if we wanted to do the longer tour. The grounds are nice and the walled garden lovely.

Lovely food, I ordered some Quiche. When it arrived it had been plated with salad, coleslaw and some other bits, all very nice! One of our party has a lot of dietary restrictions, the staff were very helpful and were able to cater for them too.

Wow! I have never been to a cafe on the grounds of a castle or park quite like Maria’s!!! The food was outstanding!! E dry thing is homemade. We had gorgeous tapa, the homemade soup was delicious and the quiche was lush! It was my friends birthday the owner gave him a cake with a candle and sing happy birthday such a lovely thing to do. Everyone there was beyond lovely and couldn’t do enough. I would visit Picton Castle just to go to this restaurant it was amazing!!! Thank you everyone for making our last day in Tenby and my friends birthday extra special xx

Just visited this little taste of heaven! What a delightful surprise to find such exceptional food in the castle grounds. Maria and her team have created a Spanish haven and combined traditional lunch fare alongside spanish tapas. The homemade quiche was delicious and the chocolate banana slice or cherry roulade were not to be missed. The finest ingredients such as white tuna delight the tastebuds. Do yourself a massive favour and stop off here. The castle and grounds are also worth a visit so its an ideal place to have lunch. Better still we noticed Maria runs evening tapas nights that her team say are fun and super popular. Best food we have had since we arrived last week! Thanks for the memory!Dietary restrictions: Catered for just ask and they will advise you.

Had a light lunch with grandchildren - excellent as always. Staff really work hard under difficult circumstances when the place is crowded.
