A small local, very friendly pub and landlord to frequent for darts, meet folk and have a chat and a great place to watch the rugby. Darren does a mean GF Cawl and GF curry for folk like me. Really lucky to have it on our doorstep.

Lovely gem of a pub with amazing views and fantastic Pasty's well worth a visit!! We stopped here due to the reviews and were not disappointed! Lovely pint and a homemade pasty!

We’ve been looking forward to eating here - and we weren’t disappointed. We brought along our son and daughter in law and were offered a cosy table in a corner where we could people watch whilst eating! Great service, helpful new staff in training, who were so polite and smiley and lovely food. This wonderful establishment is now our “local” and can’t wait to return very soon!

Local country pub no frills bells or whistles but a very nice pint of real ale, well kept, bar man/landlord very polite.Over all a unexpected very nice pint.

Watched the 1st Lions test there yesterday. I didn't have any food just drinks and good to see a pub serving something different. I had Butcombe Gold. Looked like limited operations during COVID restrictions but hopefully will be back to normal in a fortnight or so.

What an amazing gem of a pub/restaurant the Square and Compass Croesgoch Pembrokeshire is. It was my first visit last Sunday, I was invited to Sunday lunch to celebrate my cousin's 70th birthday. Both my cousin and her husband visit the Square and Compass regularly always singing it's praises. I saw for myself on Sunday why they love it so much, the Sunday carvery was exceptional the meat was cooked to perfection,so much choice of different vegetables, gravy was so tasty. If all that wasn't enough we then got to spoil ourselves with some delicious desserts. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing, the staff are very customer focused pleasant and helpful. Wish I lived in this area would be visiting on a very regular basis. Thanks everyone at the Square and Compass Croesgoch Pembrokeshire. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for everything.

My husband ordered the donor kebab. He said it tasted lovely but it was all piled on top of the pitta instead of inside it. The pitta was underneath and unopened. It made it difficult to eat. Perhaps put the pitta in a separate bag in future?

We went to the Square & Compass on Wednesday 4th September for a meal but found a notice saying the Kitchen was closed so had to go elsewhere.
