Second takeaway we’ve had from the Taj Mahal, and it was fantastic again. Certainly the best Indian restaurant in Haverfordwest, and as good as any other I’ve been to in the U.K.Chicken had a lovely texture, and the sauces were a nice consistency and full of flavour.Staff are always pleasant and the orders have been correct both times.Although I’ve not eaten in the restaurant, from what I see it has a nice atmosphere and is well laid out so that the tables aren’t on top of each other. We are hoping to eat in soon when we can get some childcare! Thanks againJimmy

Never had Indian food this like, tasteless, flavourless and wasn't worth it at all. I had order biryani, allo chat and chicken butter. Very disappointed. I had very seen food like this. I didn't knew food like this would exist. Would not recommend this at all.

Early evening walk-in and easy parking on the main road. Friendly greeting at the door and continued good service throughout. Light touch on checking back that everything was okay. Server's recommendations were spot on. Talapia Fish and the Butter Chicken were excellent. (And no after effects!). Another gem in Haverfordwest. Taj Mahal - very highly recommended.

We went there several times, every time we had good experience. Polite staff, good food, and lovely ambience.

I’ve used this restaurant before but after tonight’s meal all I can say is it’s a ripoff.3 cans of lemonade were £9.The food was stale and the service was nonexistent. It’s the worst meal I’ve ever eaten and the price was extortionate.Stay away from this restaurant.
Best Indian I have had since leaving Leicester.. Stunning!

Ordered a takeaway over the phone for collection. Everything was repeated back to me as I said it. Collected the order and drove it home 15 mins away without checking it (it wasn’t a massive order, so expected it to all be there). Got it home and 1 main dish was missing, 3 rice instead of just 2 and one dish was too spicy to be eaten, even though it was requested to be not at all spicy and “not spicy” was written on the lid. Also couldn’t rationalise what I’d been charged with prices on the menu and what we actually received.

We booked the Taj Mahal fairly last minute for 14 of us whilst on holiday. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was great. Our party had the full range of ages and there was something for everyone.I can’t say that the restaurant was glamorous, but the warmth of the welcome more than made up for it!

After having a few poor services here we left coming here for a while. However, tonight was excellent with attentive service and super food. Slight issue when the bill came as they tried to charge me for the curry sauce to go with my byriani as I asked for a different sauce to the one that comes with it. They did not inform us of the charge but when questioned removed the price of the sauce. We will be back as the quality and standard of the food here is excellent and I eat in many different Indian restaurants and feel I have a good idea of what is a decent curry. No alcohol served on site and soft drinks are a little expensive. They are more than happy for you to bring your own alcohol though.

Best Indian I've had in ages. I had the mixed starter and then lamb jalfrezi with pilau rice.the food was excellent and the service first class. They do not sell alcohol but you can take your own in and they are happy for you to do this. All in all a great dining experience.Kid-friendliness: We took 4 children in and they were welcome .Parking: You might be lucky and get a street space nearby but generally not. There is a large pay and display a short walk away.
