A welcome stop after a day exploring the area. Clean, plenty of space inside and out, dog friendly.

The perfect stop for a walk along the coast, we enjoyed massive paninis and chips in the sheltered garden and soaked up some sun.

Visited the area and this pub was recommended by our host and some locals and it didn’t disappoint. The portions were much bigger than we have back home and it was a shame we couldn’t finish the food because it was absolutely wonderful. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Stayed in Trefin over the half term and popped in here a few times after long walks. Traditional pub with roaring fire and good food. Large portions and very tasty food.

Just come back from 6 nights in Trefin at a lovely cottage in the village. This is the only pub in the village and its great, warm and welcoming, dog friendly, very chilled out with good choice of drinks and snacks. We spent every evening here with the kids mostly just having a pint (or 3) and playing pool. On our last night we had dinner here too. Fabulous food and big portions. The locals are friendly, real fires in both rooms (great this time of year) and plenty of games to play. Prices are reasonable and the beer is great (especially the Sea Fury Ale which was superb!).Food & drinks: Superb real ale (Sea Fury) and delicious food.

A genuinely quality pub: good selection of beers, delicious food, great service, friendly locals, roaring fires, pool table, games....An absolute gem!Nearby activities: A stones-throw away from the magnificent Pembrokeshire coast.

And again, a lovely experience here . Friendly staff and locals ,coupled with good beer and food make it a favourite pub of ours when in this area. Very quiet time of year for pubs in this part of the world, so obviously it pays to check whether they are doing food rather than just turning up and expecting it.

We are stating very close by, and decided we'd do a circular walk here with our two dogs. Our Visitors Book had lots of comments that the food was good here, so we thought we'd have lunch when we finished our walk. So, we got to the pub just after 12 noon. There was a notice in the window stating that off season, they didn't open till 2pm. So we we decided to go off and look at the lighthouse at Scrumble Head and return later. We arrived back at 2-15. We went in the pub, and picked up the menu, only to be told that it was the evening menu, and they didn't serve lunch during the week. So we left - and won't be returning. As we approached the car park, there was a party of 4 just arriving. I told them about no lunch, and they immediately got back in their car and drove off. So that's probably over £120 worth of revenue thrown away. Why do the flyers in holiday cottages not state this? Sorry guys, you shot yourself in the foot ....

A rare fined,a ordinary traditional pub,cod and chops very good, prices good,at least 20%lower than St.davids, friendly staff,I highly recommend this village pub,Parking: Just loads of room, for pub and Radna cafeKid-friendliness: Not a massive beer garden, no bad language, kids food menuWheelchair accessibility: All pretty level surfaces, not a big pub though

Had a Friday evening meal at The Shop. Good food, well cooked and of particular note...excellent curries! Beautiful rice, hot naans and perfectly spiced Jalfrezzi?. Good beer on tap and from the pump. They say an establishment is as good as it's staff...well The Ship is right up there!! Bravo!

Fantastically kept local Welsh beers and delicious food. Warm and welcoming both to locals and holiday makers alike. The staff were fabulous - chatty and informative of the local attractions. We were made to believe this was out longstanding local, although we were only there for the week. Hats off to Andrew out friendly barman who even came in on his day off to say goodbye. Can’t praise the place any more highly. Top notch!
