We came just for the spa and had a wonderful evening. The outdoor hot tub and sauna was so cosy and we had the place to ourselves on a Monday night. The ladies doing the treatments were so lovely, making us lots of tea and keeping our prosecco topped up. One of the best facials I've had in ages - would definitely make the effort to go regularly if I lived in Wales, next time I want to try the hotel!Nearby activities: Great value and well appointed spa

Really nice setting, great service with friendly staff! However portion sizes are very small and in my opinion over priced. If you like deserts make sure it’s pay day because the wallets going to be light after. Most main courses don’t come with any sides which was disappointing.Decided to come back to give it another go 2 years later …. Portion sizes are even smaller, and they’re charging £11 for a glass of wine. Don’t bother coming here.Food & drinks: Meals are incredibly expensive and small… even though they call them “Big Plates”

Travelling with 3 dogs and this hotel and restaurant were really welcoming! 2 of the dog friendly rooms have external access, which is convenient. Dogs can eat with you in Brasserie, and food was great (dogs lived the sausages for breakfast)*dogs additional room charge £15 each

We went for a spa so I cannot comment on the rooms. The service is absolutely amazing. Loved every minute of it. Came out relaxed.And the food, wow ! Highly recommend. A bit over my usual budget (but not overpriced). The quality and execution and presentation of the food is so good, I will definitely return. It's a real treat.

Stayed long weekend with my three girls Susannah my wife and Dinkies and Fidget golden retriever and labrador !!1 Excellent place just excellent, chirpy helpful staff , lovely grub , great service, very large bed in room - comfy place so thanks a lot everyone. Whilst I sadly didn't stay overnight, I had my recent birthday meal here with my partner in the fine dining restaurant. Let's simply say that it was beyond all expectations. The food was out of this world and our waitress was knowledgeable about all aspects of each and every course...all seven of them!Additionally, the service and welcome from all other staff was top notch and, as such, in my eyes the establishment really does represent excellent value for money in every respect. Despite living locally, I'd happily stay here for a short break, it's really that good.Thank you all. I look forward to returning soon.

My husband and I had our wedding here a few weeks ago, since booking it as our venue back in April 2022 we've had several visits for planning and I've made several visits for lunch dates and spa dates which have all be 10/10.The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food and the service has always been amazing.Our wedding guests were so complimentary of everything and being able to have our ceremony and reception in one place was such a time saver.The staff are a true credit to the business and it speaks volumes that they seem to retain their staff well.We plan to continue to visit wolfscastle for food and spa adventures for years to come.Food & drinks: Can not recommend the food hear more.Such great quality and service.Looking forward to returning to try their fine dining restaurant soon ?
