We pre ordered curry for 22 adults, all different curries, vegetables sides and sides. All of us really enjoyed the curry. All dishes tastes very good and actually can taste different spices. Really enjoyed it and definitely ordering from Taste of India next year

I’m not sure what that vaguely sweet sauce smothering the chicken was but definitely not Masala. The rice was good, but that’s all I could recommend. She brought things we didn’t order, forgot things we did … but mostly it was that they told us that the card reader wasn’t working (because it was a national holiday?!?) and that we’d suddenly need cash in a local currency (where we were spending 24 hours). Something a bit off about the whole thing…

A lovely place with a great menu at a very reasonable price. The dishes are all cooked to perfection and the service is superb.

The food was nice, but a little disappointing. I ordered two chapatti to go with my main dish, which is normally plenty, but these chapatti were like scraps of tissue paper, very insubstantial.

3rd time having a delivery from here while on holiday on Anglesey. One of the best Indian takeaways I have ever had. The meat is in big pieces and juicy. Lovely flavours. I would highly recommend this takeaway.

I have been to this restaurant today with my family, and the owner has cheated me(please look at the response from the owner below which proves his attitude). He has asked if I would like to have a pappadam at the start. I said yes and he brought 4 pappadam with 2 dips and 1 pickle and 1 onion salsa. Once we finished the rest of the order from the menu. I checked the cost of the pappadam which costs 0.50 pence a plain pappadam. There is no cost listed in the menu for the dips. However, once we have finished eating and when i went to pay, the amount the owner displayed, i was n' t happy. When i have checked it, there was 2 pound extra. When i have challenged him, he said that is for the dips that he gave for the pappadam.Honestly, i have been living in this country for many years and have been to many indian restaurants. No Indian restaurants will charge money for the dips. It comes along with the pappadam. Therefore, i felt cheated and i have said to him the same.If he would like to charge for the dips with the pappadam, then this have to be listed in the menu with the cost. Then it will be the peoples choice to add this in their menu. The experience throughout was n' t make me feel comfortable and welcoming. Therefore, in my opinion and my experience, people have to make sure what you have ordered and check the price that he was adding. Because, i have felt strongly that I have been cheated by him blindly. I told him that 2 pound is not a problem to pay, however, the way that he has been collecting without the peoples knowledge is not ethical.I have paid him that 2 pound for the dip as well. However, i have mentioned to him that I will write this review. Thanks for taking your time to read

Visited with friends after reading great reviews. Big disappointment. Never over boil chicken as it goes tough. Once tough all you can do is shred it. The sauces accompanying the chicken didn’t resemble any Indian/Pakistani sauces I’ve ever tasted. My sauce was tika masala, it looked dark red like the sauce you get in a jar (knor) now add spice and cream and yogurt to this and you can get away with this but not on this occasion. One of our friends ordered lamb but gat chicken, when inquiring about this he was told lamb was expensive??? We ordered mixed starters for six. Six plates of meat and lots of onion gravy. One each. Service was pleasant but the girl couldn’t identify the dishes served. Not her fault. Decor, the place badly needs a good clean and a lick of paint.

Visited a taste of India at the weekend and despite my gut instinct telling me to leave I chose to stay. Taking my seat next to an unplugged Lidl electric fire and a full size mirror randomly leaning against the wall collecting cobwebs, I looked out the window and for a second thought I was in a 1990 post Soviet Union country. So I looked down at the carpet snd wished I hadn’t. Napkins were little paper towels and the ambience was more like “Joes Cafe” No alcohol however the waiter recommended Lidl if we wished to purchase some. I was planning to leave however my friend who has learning difficulties made a terrible mess with the popadoms. We ordered mixed starters for the group and each received a plate of starters that were mixed in a blender; honestly it was slop covered in onions. An hour later our main dishes arrived on a trolley that clearly belonged in the local hospital. The waiter could not tell us what the mains were and asked the chef to come out ( neither of the staff were wearing masks). He pointed at our dishes and informed us which was which. Some dishes on the table we had not ordered and others were clearly made by sauces likely to have been purchased a Lidl. One of our party owns a few restaurants and described the chicken as over boiled. All in all a dreadful experience.

Just visiting the area and done trip advisor to choose, so had reasonable expectations. 1. Phone ringing continuously at a massive volume 2. Couldn't offer alcohol as licence taken off them. 3. Requested mixed starters for five, and expected various dishes, received what can only be described as slop on every plate. lettuce tomato and some meats with onions slopped over the top. 4. Waited an hour for mains when they arrived on a 1970's trolley the girl (god bless her) didn't even know what the dishes were, so the (chef) eventually came out and dismissively informed us. 5. The food was bloody appalling, one of our party has a few take aways and hazarded a guess that the chicken had been over boiled then thrown into a shop bought sauce. 5. One of the guys received chicken instead of Lamb and didn't want to complain but thought he'd deal with it after. 6. The rice was cooked properly 7. The girl was apologetic and tried her best under difficult circumstances. 8. When we went to pay it my mate said he wouldn't pay for the chicken dish he didn't want and didn't eat. The owner argued that that was unreasonable as he'd had to pay for the chicken which was expensive. We eventually got out and honestly wondered why we hadn't left within the first ten minutes. Good news was no food poisoning

First time I tried their food, it was really good and tasty. Ordered the same food the week later and it was totally the opposite. When I dished out the main dish, there was so much water coming out of the sauce. It is a shame as I wanted the food to be as good as the previous week
