Went in at 1400 to have lunch. At 1430 staff put the closed sign up and started stacking all the chairs which made us feel rushed. At 1440 a staff member came and asked to take my partners empty plate away then took my half full bowl of chips away without asking. She went to the back and shouted these are the last ones to everyone cheering. Disgusting behaviour ,not very welcoming. First and last visitt

Great full English breakfast, comes with tea as it should!! Fab price for it, £9 for a big breakfast, tasting great and super filling. Genuinely grand

Food was like you would expect, cheap tasting and greasy! No atmosphere or customer service! Wouldn't recommend as expensive too!

Always rated this place highly. But unfortunately the last two visits are disappointing. Being told our dog was too big n to leave, even though it’s a medium sized dog who we have taken there numerous times was their first strike. Then after being told we could stay by another we ordered brekkie. Eggs were solid, hash browns were pale. Only ate the sausage and bacon cos I was hungry. That was their second strike. Thought they were just having a bad day. So went bk last week, no dog, and brekkie was just as bad. Maybe I’m going on the cooks day off! Also latte was very pale, so they charged me 50p a shot. If I didn’t find the whole experience so annoying I would have laughed.

Sat outside in the sunshine with a coffee while waiting for the ferry to Dublin. Very good coffee.
Ordered to go before getting on the ferry. They did their best to provide good food and fast service with quite limited staffing. Really enjoyed the food and appreciated the service. Btw the cappuccino was very good!!!

After a long days drive to the port we were hoping for lunch before continuing on to the ferry. Although the cafe claim to shut at 3pm, they stop serving food at 2:00. Although having bought coffee while deciding what to eat, my request for food at just before 2pm was met with a very terse and abrupt response. I appreciate that they need to finish and clean before leaving, but a sign would be helpful to avoid disappointment.
