Serving food only until 3pm and we were looking for dinner so we didn't stay, however the staff pointed us in the right direction for other options serving food until later, so on we went!Food & drinks: Serving food until 3pm

I was with my diving friends out for a drink. We were in Holyhead for the weekend to do some diving and training. We didn't choose this pub initially but our regular had closed permanently.I think we were all a bit out of our depth here! As mature adults it was pretty obvious we had landed ourselves in a young persons bar where they were getting up to young persons things. We had one drink and left. The local police officers were present outside chatting socially and having a laugh and joke with the pub goers.I was going to go the toilet but I decided to leave it till I got back to our digs! The gents was extremely busy with a lot of coming and going? It was busier than the bar!No not for me Thank you. I suppose if you are in your late teens, early twenties and have a thing about regular trips to the Gent's toilets!

I was at the Stanley Arms for my second time. The barman is very friendly and helpful. I had to cracking pints of John Smith.Food & drinks: Drink is cheap I Don know what the food is like but I did have a look at the menu and it's impressive. Maby on my next day trip to Holyhead I'll grab a bit to eat in the Stanley Arms.

Family trip to Holyhead , we had been in local shops and they staff had recommended the Stanley arms to us. All said food was lovely ,Now in fairness there was 16 of us in our group . We were shopping and Few of us had when in first sat down and were looking at menus. From when we walked in door the lady behind the bar had a issue , normally to me as work in hospitality/bar trade for over 25 years . I would always greet customers or guests and ask them could get anything or drink, but from moment we walked in . It was Apparent that the redheaded lady (who would not give a name ) didn’t want us there, as more of our group came in , my son (12 year old) walked in last and lady screamed at him ,you are not allowed in with that ( hot choc) . My mother in law reply sorry and she screamed again , There was no need to scream at a child , if she had of just called one of us over wouldn’t of been a problem. when we asked to speak to manger she laughed and said he’s not here come back at five , I have never in my life had to deal with that rude behaviour and attitude and screaming at 12 year old boy . We were in no rush to order our food and totally understand , she might Been a bit shocked at size of group , but we were in no rush . We were tried to talk to her she just shouted leave or call the police , we were shocked at her attitude, we just left. I wonder as b&b also too how you speak to guests/ people & child like that especially as recommended to us , I would not recommend this Establishment to anyone and If I was manger there would most definitely try to advise her on how to deal with customers, just not at all . We left a had a beautiful meal and staff we so nice and friendly in another local establishment. But to anyone thinking of giong here to eat or stay beware , much nicer friendly places to go

Food was good beer was good. Beer was good. Shame they do not do coffee as they do food. Also, not allowed to bring a coffee in bought from the shop across the road. According to staff, brewery don't allow it. I've worked in pubs for over 50 years and first I've heard that. But as they say in life, first for everything.

Same problem with my assistance dog the only reason we stayed were the locals we met in there, one sticks out a lovely lady who had adopted a baby, well done to you, I have a feeling that's a very lucky baby to end up with such a lovely lady and mum.

My nephew and I had a very good supper in the pub this evening. We’re staying at the Travelodge before sailing to dublin and the pub was recommended to us. There’s a wide choice of foods (all savoury dishes) and they were extremely tasty and at a reasonable cost. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.

If you are looking for a room to spend a romantic evening then perhaps you should look elsewhere. But, for me, a single bloke just looking for a clean room, with a shower that works, quiet, easy to park and well located, then perfect. Defo no frills tho with a very budget feel.I paid just over thirty pounds for a single room, which is probably about the right price.Rooms: Very basic, but, very clean !

Clean room, loads if tea and coffee facilities rather than the usual 2 of everythingGood hot water, strong shower but decor in tge room tired and personally i found the bed mattress to be a bit thin and lumpy..There is loud music on a Friday and Saturday until midnight which wasn't clear on the website so either take earplugs or go and join in !I would stay again....it was good value and a good location ...Good price znd oarking and the backFood & drinks: Can't really comment as despite being a resident, and having checked in at 7.30pm after a long drive, u arrived a few minutes after 8pm to be told the kitchen was closed... disappointing...
