Supposed to be family friendly, I think that only counts if you are a local and go into the pub every weekend. Me and my family were staying at the travel lodge before getting a ferry the next day. We walked in excited to have a Sunday dinner and the entire pub went silent and stared at us not a single person had a friendly bone. Walked straight back out. A shame, not even the bar staff were friendly.

Absolutely lovely pub, great atmosphere and food. Highly recommend. Been a few times including for breakfast and Sunday dinner and never been disappointed. Unless I’m late for dinner and it runs out being so popular ?

When we visited, very randomly, they only had a roast available and lucky for us that is all we wanted. It was so damn good—just what our soul needed.
