One of the best seafood I have eaten. It was worth waiting for a reservation. For sure we will come back.

We arrived on Saturday of a bank holiday and tried to book they were full until the Monday evening, menu was very limited as they had run out of most items, we both ordered steak it came after quite a delay but I’ve never seen steak with so much fat on it we did complain and the bill was rectified. We were then booked in for Wednesday night we were apprehensive but to be fair the meal (catch of the day) and service was excellent so we kept our booking for the Friday night this was very hit and miss, our drinks order got lost and it was ages before anyone came to ask us what we wanted to order for food, we both had lobster I had mine plain and my OH has his in a cream and brandy sauce. For the price 35.95 the lobster was on the small side and it didn’t have much taste. On all our visits there were tables available so it wasn’t busy. A few of the members of staff are friendly and welcoming but when you see waitresses walking round with sullen faces a smile wouldn’t go amiss.

After reading the 2 previous reviews, I was a little apprehensive about our choice to dine here, but we had a wonderful experience! The food was excellent (especially the lobster), the staff were friendly and attentive, there was a lovely atmosphere, and we felt very welcomed. We would definitely recommend, and will return in the future. Thank you.

We have just visited and both had the cod, chips and peas. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant initially until 3 ladies arrived. The smell of fat/cooking oil from the kitchen was quite unpleasant as was the noise of the staff!!Whilst the food was quite edible there was a strange taste to the cooking oil used and we are still tasting it now!! The young man who served us was lovely but the food wasn't to a standard that would make us return! We travelled from the North West and this restaurant was on our list of places to visit whilst on holiday. Very disappointed !

We came here on Saturday for my birthday meal. I have been waiting 3yrs to come back to this restaurant and I was not disappointed! Absolutely amazing once again and the staff were fantastic. Thank you for your hospitality we will be back hopefully sooner than last time ?

This was a bit of a disappointment as the restaurant has always had a good reputation on the Island. The main courses were nice and well cooked but not cheap. Unfortunately the restaurant was soulless in terms of atmosphere and there was no attention to detail. A real missed opportunity

What a wonderful little place tucked away in the countryside. Despite not being a big fish food fan this place was recommended to us by a friend and didn't disappoint.\\n\\nAn accident with the chef in the kitchen meant that food was slightly delayed, the staff however bent over backwards to apologise and ensure it didn't ruin anyone's evening.\\n\\nFood was incredible! Hats off to the chef, who despite being injured managed to cook steaks for all of us (each one perfectly cooked to our liking).\\n\\nReasonably priced made this evening incredible value and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.\\n\\nPersonal favourites were the tomato and red pepper soup and the chocolate fudge sponge.

Had a fantastic meal, we couldn't decide between starters so we ordered the calamari, the seared scallops and the spicy crab cakes all of which were great.\\nFor mains we had Anglesey platers, one with oysters one with prawns. Gorgeous food, well worth a visit

Amazing place !\\nWe visited the Lobster Pot this weekend. I have to say it was everything I anticipated and more. The location was perfect. The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was 100% perfect, starting a new business during a pandemic is hard work and I take my hat off to them taking over during uncertain times when supplies are hard to come by as are good hospitality staff. All the staff were brilliant. We had drinks there the day before and Ceri remembered us and our dog Bobby when we arrived the following day for our meal. They made us feel so welcome. Not everything was available on the menu but the majority was and the service was excellent. The food was excellent from start to finish. The wine was great too. They couldn’t do enough for us.\\nBut we are nice people. We are not rude and pompous and we treat hospitality staff as humans and with respect.\\n\\nMost of the recents reviews seem to be from customers who are not like us. They also only complain about service and wait times not the amazing food!\\n\\nCeri and the team are doing a great job and it can only get better

Had a brilliant family reunion there this weekend. The restaurant has been renovated and is light and bright. The gardens are really lovely and a great place to wander with the little ones and throw pooh sticks under the bridges, you do have to hold hands with very little ones though.\\nThe food was delicious, there was 12 of us, all the meals arrived close together - I had lobster which was amazing, the rest of our party had a mixture of lobster and steaks - all were pleased with their food. It was very family friendly and relaxed. I can't wait to return.

Went to The Lobster Pot this weekend and had a meal. The meal was outstanding and the staff and chef were very helpfu and accommadating with my dietary restrictions. I cant recommend this restaurant enough. We will definateley be going again. Thankyou to all at the Lobster Pot.
