“Just popped in for the first time and had lunch. I think we were a bit early but it was no problem for the staff. Very friendly and very accommodating! I ordered Pie and honestly it was the best Pie I have ever had. The meat was tender and the crust was perfect served with a gravy that was spot on. 10/10”

“Absolutely fabulous pub, I am so impressed. Friendly staff and management, terrific real ale selection - clearly a good reason that they have won CAMRA awards. The menu looks terrific and we will definitely return for food.”

“We called in for a quick drink to see how the place was, now that it's under new management. The staff were very welcoming & helpful and the prices were fantastic.
Being a wine drinker, the reason I couldn't give 5 stars, is that the selection of wines is quite small. All in all, though, a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be going again!”
“Wow, excellent 3 course meal fresh food at its best. Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake was so light and absolutely delicious a lovely end to our meal. Staff very friendly and efficient, Anthony a credit to you.”
