We call every Thursday on our way down the caravan for chicken curry & chips, we love it! Their food is always beautiful. The 2 boys that work there are always helpful, nice smiley faces & are always happy to serve you. prices are good. keep up the good work.

Drove out to Kilgetty Fish bar on Sunday evening as they were queuing 30 deep at all the fish shops in Tenby. Turned up at 8.20 when this close at 8.30. Very little left but it was not a problem and fresh fish was cooked. I must say it was absolutely beautiful and well worth the detour. Fish was delicious and chips where chunky and crispy. Hats off to the staff too, it had clearly been a crazy busy day but my late order was not a problem. 5 stars and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Kilgetty fish bar and your great staff.

Visited for the first time whilst staying in Kilgetty and definitely won't be visiting Kilgetty Fish Bar again. The chips I ordered were extremely greasy and looked like they'd been cooked in dirty oil. They were covered in little bits of batter and other things and were all moulded into one by the time I got back (Literally a 3 minute drive away). Small portion sizes for the prices and cash only. In 2020? ?‍♂️ Would not recommend.

What a fantastic pair that were here yesterday, came in and didn't have much cash on me as I pay card most of the time, food was amazing will definitely come back when we're passing. P.s the Battered sausages were lush. ? Kids loved the gravy and chips.

Disgusting slimey waste of money... could not eat the cod as was swimming in grease & had the equivalent fish of frozen supermarket kind. The chips mainly consisted of grease, scrumps & very little potato.

Came from Birmingham for a holiday and been to this chippy a good few times. Staff are great with kids and went out their way to keep kids happy. Food is amazing and at a decent price. People from Birmingham know what scallops are but unfortunately the chip shop never lol

A superb fish and chip establishment that serves beautiful food with the added bonus with the facility to eat in. Takeaway is very busy most of the time, visited tonight and sat indoors and had chips, plaice and peas and a cup of tea. Really clean and tidy and very friendly staff. Well worth a visit, it was the first time for me as we are stopping in Stepaside and found it by accident. Will be visiting again before we go home.

Absolutely brilliant! We didn't get our fish and chips as my mum fell up the steps and gashed her leg. Just wanted to thank everyone who helped out with first aid and general courtesy. Fish and chips are always 1st class here anyway and the staff are so friendly. Thank you.

All in all I enjoyed the food. The chips were outstanding as well as the battered sausage. The Irish curry sauce was a nice change to my fish and chips pallet and it was nice to see three different curry sauces on the menu. However the Chinese curry sauce was extremely thin in consistency so much we didn’t actually use it as the dilution left it rather tasteless. The risolle was also cold and tasted uncooked to some degree.

The staff were polite but stressed as there was a queue of 20. I’d put this down to management as it seemed they were understaffed and seemed under experienced to cope with the influx of customers.

Despite this, the food was satisfactory and if I lived in the area I would return and the quality of the food was overall outstanding.

The shop front itself had a large seating area for a chippy and was clean and well presented. The menu was easy to read and they had some very good deals for each day of the week.

If I could suggest a change, it would be to not take all of the 20+ orders in one go, and to let one person have the role of setting the pace for the chef. The employee taking the orders was under worked with inexperience which left the rest of the staff working to catch up with the influx of orders he had processed. Meaning it left some customers waiting a long time after placing their orders. This can be annoying.

If it were me, I’d rather my wait be split into two portions, waiting for my order to be taken and waiting to receive my order, rather than waiting the entire time for my food. Just a preference which I think would have made me wait seem shorter.

I still give this chip shop four stars as I could tell on a quiet day, there would have been no faults.

Well done.

Highly recommended! Always come here for food when we are at the caravan. We called in last night after a long slowish with traffic journey git to caravan and said Kilgetty Fish shop tonight then. It was past 8pm thought you would have been closed, but still open and able to accomodate us with anything we wanted. Fabulous service yet again. Always recommend you to people in the area on holidays. Best fish shop in Pembrokeshire. Less than 5 minute drive from Stepaside!
