Joke. Doesn’t open until 2pm on a Saturday? Now the only pub in the village and doesn’t take advantage of the situation or want the business clearly. Just as they were improving this has brought them right back down again. Won’t be returning.

Had a great meal. Local butcher supplied the sirloin steak which was delicious. The wife enjoyed her hunters chicken as well. All side dishes were cooked fresh and washed down with their selection of wine and ales. Lucky to have this as my local..

Very disappointed. Looked at the opening times advertised on Google. Walked over 4 miles to get there, and it was closed. So had to walk all the way back to the car with out a rest break. So don't waste your time going to this pub, because they may be closed.

Great pub. Only went there for a drink while exploring the area. It was clear and tidy and very friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Good amount of parking.

A friendly pub with a good selection of ales and cider. Would definitely visit again. The food looked good too. ?

7 for Sunday lunch and 2 veggies. Separate gravy, roasties and a squash/nut roast. Choice of 3 meats for us. The cheeses leeks were stunning, as were the roasts and yorkies. Reasonably priced and a local and lovely atmosphere.Deserts are varied and lush. Defo recommend ! Ana Gunn

A pub sorely in need of a dimmer switch. It's still freshly painted, very clean and very bright inside. Too many pubs remove any semblance of character or potential cosiness by blasting the customers with bright white light. There are no shadows here. Think of the money they'd save on electricity if they created dimmer lit areas.

Very friendly pub, the staff and locals were very welcoming. We had a lovely Sunday carvery, very tasty and good price too. Lovely atmosphere , we enjoyed a few drinks and few games of pool. A very special mention to bar staff Aiden, a true gent, he was so lovely and kind and went out of his way to ensure we got home. I recommend the Sitwell Arms and will definitely return if in the area again.

We turned up whilst on a days cycling tour, and a 70th birthday party was going on, so it was very busy. The landlady asked if we'd booked, but despite not doing so, nothing was too much trouble, and she made us a couple of delicious roast beef baguettes. Made us feel very welcome.. Great pub great landlady and great atmosphere.. Cannot recommend highly enough ???
