Didn’t have time to eat but will definitely be back. Some nice things for sale and friendly owners.

We were recommended by the florist to try this cafe cum gallery. It’s a destination in itself! An eclectic mix of antiques, gifts, crafts and local books you can browse for ages before or after being served with drinks and snacks. Unfortunately we didn’t try the homemade bread and cakes as we didn’t want to spoil our early lunch but they did look tempting. Instead we just had tea and coffee sitting on the Lloyd Loom chairs in the window. The owners were very friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy the company of their customers. Couldn’t be more different from the corporate coffee chains in bigger towns.

Having visited during every one of our MANY holidays in nearby Clun, we love the food, the ambiance and the gifts. The quality of the home made food, in particular the soup and bread is fabulous. Welcoming and smiling service adds to the reasons to visit. A gem of an establishment, you must experience.

Great luck of local produce. You must try the Barn Bryth and the local bread made by the owner from family recipes. The coffee was good too.

We were on the Heart of Wales Line Trail and needed a late lunch. The Tower House Gallery was an excellent choice. The "Grub in a Mug" option was splendid. We both had a tasty mug of leek and potato soup along with a Brie and redcurrant toastie. All cooked by John, yummy. The owners even closed the door as we were more cold than worried about you know what!

The owners are lovely.I always enjoy having food here. Bread is beautiful and always homemade. A larger selection would be beneficial but as Knighton is a small town I can understand why they don't.Nothing is ever too much trouble!
