I love going here it’s now one of my favourite places

I was here just before Christmas. Wonderful food accompanied by a lunchtime concert of Christmas folk music. Magical.

In line with another reviewer I have to say the cafe has gone downhill. Visited on 11th Jan for a quick lunch and to get a few items in the shop. Firstly the quiche and salad were "thrown" onto the plate in a very haphazard manner. It just looked awful. Asking for a cheese toastie was greeted with disdain as the lady serving had to get the toastie machine out. I asked to take my partners meal up as it was now going cold. Going back downstairs for my coffee and paying the bill I then had to wait 20 minutes for my cheese toastie. Well Ii say toastie - I have never in my life seen anything like it. You could not have got the toastie any thinner if you applied a 20 tonne press to it. Her only comment on the delay was " I had to wait for the machine to warm up". Her general manner was not conducive to feedback so we left it. If you want to charge more because of costs etc - fine - I get it. But, get the service and the quality right. If not people will just not come back. We won't eat here again - very very poor.

We love the Mulberry Bush! It’s a fantastic shop and cafe, brimming with whole food goodness, health products and ingredients; and getting food here is always a treat! It’s so good, always delicious and full of goodness! Amazing salads!! Great choice! Smiley, happy, sincere & helpful staff. This place is a deep rooted part of the town, a little haven of goodness; and Lampeter is all the better for having it.

Amazing veg lunch food

Phenomenal range of specialist range of food, a vegan & vegetarian paradise. Lots of help from the staff if needed. Food is served, seating primarily upstairs, we are not vegan or vegetarian however, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, changed our minds about flavours.

Vegan's are very welcome and very well catered for. With extensive conscientious health food shop downstairs, and plenty of seating for the cafe upstairs. We had very tasty vegan options for lunch - we’ll be coming again when we’re in the area

I’ve never had a meal I wasn’t satisfied with in the many years I’ve used the Mulberry Bush. Highly recommended, great food, great staff and a great atmosphere.

I love this place! Great to stock up on healthy organic foods and the cafe is great. The coffee is lovely and today I had the vegan lasagna which was so tasty and the salad bar which was all vegan and delicious! I wish I lived closer as I’d be here all the time. Also the young man at the till in the shop was so sweet and helped me pack my bag as I was also holding my baby, a lovely place.

The best cake I've ever had in my entire life - the pistachio cheesecake. Also really adored the vegan lasagne. Fabulous selection of goods in the shop too. Definitely worth a visit

The shop itself is pricey both in shelf contents and the cafe. BUT i just love the home cooked food they do. We had a mixed salad and a falafel burger and Moroccan bake type thing to takeaway. Both very nice, just a little pricey but, for us as regulars to the area but not local, worth paying a bit more for tasty vegan food.

We stopped here and ate on the paving table while cycling. A shared mushroom flan with salad and chicken pakoras hit the spot. Friendly staff, indoor seating and a good food store too. Veggies, vegans and gluten intolerant people all catered for too - well done!
