Disgusting hotel with rude manager and staff! Never coming here again! Place was filthy, loud, smelly and just down and out rubbish. Not worth the money whats so ever. I think they need a revamp with the staff. Does no one know how to clean? Obviously not.

Went to Lampeter to pick something up with a friend. Called in royal Oak tea room for coffee. Big mistake. Asked for cappuccino which was not available for some reason. We then asked for tea cake. Again not available Settled for tea and scone Tea was drinkable but scone tasted stale and was hard as rock Tried to eat it but it was horrible Think it had been there for days. Charged £10 for tea and scones which we could not eat. The place was empty and no wonder. Awful

A very welcoming pub with rooms. Very good value. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the room with a kettle. We had a smallish room at the back of the hotel, with a good shower. The pub offers some meals. No parking however we arrived on Saturday night and were able to park in the street until Monday morning. The clientele were noisy til closing time.

A warm welcome even with 6 dogs, and invited to sit inside or out, the food was lovely freshly cooked with reasonable prices, and staff polite and helpful.

Ate and drank here with friends on a Friday evening whilst staying in Lampeter for the Easter weekend. Nice typical pub food and wide choice. Freshly prepared and my scampi was cooked perfectly and at least 12 pieces. Pizzas looked nicely loaded and not overcooked. Good atmosphere in the bar area and relatively quick service. Convenient location in the town centre but building could do with a lick of paint. Shame they don't do meals on a Sunday Evening. Will definitely visit again when in Lampeter.

Stopped here whilst travelling upto north wales. A lovely pub and so friendly. Great prices too. Well recommend x

Went Monday to Thursday the video futage says as lot had to asked for toilet paper and coffee only to be told there is no coffee. No breakfast even at £70 per night room not cleaned at any point and the place is well a home for 2 drug dealers and teenagers who don't know customer service. No management around and no one to care when service did not meet basic hygiene or b and b standards.
Stopped in here with a few friends for a drink. What a lovely place, with really nice surroundings. Good selection of beers to choose from and the chaps behind the bar were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back again in the future.

Came here for my 30th birthday - lovely family run pub. My partner has a gluten allergy so asked a member of staff what she could have off the menu. The chef came out to deal with it which was impressive, she moved the menu around to fit my partners needs.Portion size was fantastic and the quality of the steak was amazing.Thank you so much to Sarah and Colin - (Owners / Chefs)Great food, great staff, great atmosphere and a great evening.
