Parked on the carpark for the night in Victor our campervan. Very friendly staff and great food....not the cheapest for food and drinks but good quality and we were grateful for the night parking

Hi there castle view I had a meal Saturday and we were very surprised. The service was outstanding the atmosphere and the warmth from the open fire was a delight but most of all the food was beautiful I was there with my Thai wife who had been a head chef for 14 years at a 2 star Michelin starred restaurant in Bangkok and she cleared her plate and said nothing believe that is good ? thankyou and when we are in the area again we will definitely eat here again thankyou Nigel

We stayed for new year not far from the Castle View and had two evening meals there. The food was good and the staff helpful and friendly. We would definitely return if we stay in the area again. Thank you to the staff
Fantastic setting, beautiful views great pub with first class food and great beers and table service to match. Only popped in for lunch, open sandwiches and hotdogs fantastic.. will definitely be skipping dinner. Thanks for great afternoon, highly recommended ?

Service with a smile.Stayed overnight using their campervan stopover scheme and had drinks and meals in the pub.From the moment you walked in the atmosphere was good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.A good selection of both beers and ales and a good selection of food on the menu. The food was well presented and perfectly cooked.Would I recommend Castle View? Yes and I'd happily go back again myself.

Having come from Lancashire for a break over New Year we were located just by the pub, lovely clean warm cosy with excellent staff that made us feel very welcome, we didn't eat but the food coming out looked amazing, NYE around 5ish was full of couples, families and furry friends that all looked very happy with a lovely atmosphere, 10/10 to each and everyone one of you ? well done for hosting a great pub

We had a great Sunday lunch on New Year’s Eve the food was really tasty,the staff are very friendly and Mia was very helpful,there is a nice easy going atmosphere in the pub,we will return when travelling that way again
