we been here almost everyday. just the table is very dirty all time and need to be clean after customer left.while staff stay and chat at the bar but then nobody come and clean table, we need to do ourself all time.we keep come here again and again just becasus my little dog I bring her with me. when Bella not with me, I go other place as we need clean table to enjoin.

Love this cafe, it's always our first stop of the day. GREAT coffees esp the Americano which is tip top strength not like the dishwater of the competition. We also like a almond croissant and the super helpful staff always give it a twirl in the old microwave to make it taste like super fresh again.Staff are invariably really helpful. As much as I like to put money in the pockets of small businesses I can't bring myself to forego this treat just yetRecomended

Went in for drinks today. Dog friendly. Was very busy, but three people were serving. Lots of friendly customers chatting to us & the dog. Would visit again.

This is not a negative about Nero's itself but a concern I feel needs more monitoring. There is a sign that well behaved dogs are welcome But please don't have them On your lap or feed at the table. Today this couple came in with their dog in a dog pram, immediately blocking a way past, they then proceeded with their drinks while taking biscuits/snacks from their backpacks (not fair on other customers) the female kept giving the dog pieces of what they were eating ( the dog was not level with table but high enough) and then dipped her finger in the cream of her partner's drink before letting the dog lick it and her hand, this happened a few times. She did not clean her hands at any time and in this day and age of covid and viruses was incredibly unhygenic, leaving her bacteria on the table, chair, mug and anything else she touched.. Not what you want to encounter while having a coffee. I find this totally unacceptable so please Nero's let's get this sorted.

Very Frasier Crane. One star missing because I only had an excellent coffee so can't honestly comment on the food. Otherwise excellent, a classy joint.
Came here for some coffee and dessert and everything was going great until one staff member told us that dogs weren’t allowed on the furniture when in fact they were sitting on our laps and not touching any of the furniture. Bit strange since no dog friendly establishment has ever told us off for having our dogs on our laps. We even said to her that they were on our laps and not on the furniture but she insisted they get down. Think she needs retraining since she’s enforcing a rule that doesn’t make sense.

The nice thing about the big brand coffee shops is they're open when all your local ones are closed. Cafe Nero was open till 8pm. So I had a leisurely coffee and pastry after my shopping before going home. Its a nice cafe with two floors toilets up and down. Counter service as standard is quick and efficient. A little pricier than non branded cafes but hey look at the opening hours. Of course you can takeaway too. Handy if you're at the Theatre and you need a snack before you go in. Nice staff nice location good stock and variety clean and tidy. Nice comfy place to chat too with sofas and bucket seats. I go home relaxed and happyWell done Cafe Nero you are filling a need when about 99% of your competition has long since closed their doors.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access width and ground floor disabled toilet facility.
