Called in with a friend, seated quickly and then totally ignored. Our menu's had been placed down, it was evident we were ready to order but staff continued to walk by. We got up and left and spent our funds at another establishment across the road. Won't return.

Called in just wanting a cuppa and a nice plain sandwich with no frills. That is exactly what we got, freshly made, nicely presented and reasonably priced. The interior has a charming old fashioned ambience and the staff were very polite, obliging and chatty. They were smiling too! It was lovely to see a smart dress code evident. The place was evidently popular by the number of customers who passed through while we were there. I can thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Called in for lunch, great atmosphere and wonderfully attentive staff (special mention for Anna who took really good care of us) the food was excellent!A great varied menu and would be great for a quick brunch bite or a full evening meal.We'll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian options, I selected Welsh rarebit and it was excellent and very filling.Dietary restrictions: They were happy to drop the cheese from the ham, cheese and pickle sandwich and not butter it for my partner.

What a lovely restaurant this is, the staff were amazing, friendly, chatty, funny, loved meeting them. Had breakfast, well cooked and delicious we will definitely be going back for another meal when we’re back in town. Highly recommended all round.

Visited for lunch with our small dog who was welcome at one of the tables by the door. We both had a toasted sandwich which was served with homemade coleslaw and a small fresh well dressed side salad with a few crisps. Cappuccino was delicous too. We were made to feel very welcome and all in all it was a lovely experience.

This is my happy place to eat out. My favourite diner. Travelled a bit out of my whilst in North Wales for a return visit and it was was spot on. Staff are smart, friendly and attentive giving excellent service. The food was served with nice presentation and filling. The layout and decor is great with a nice atmosphere. The history behind the business is very interesting and the staff are proud of its heritage. Thanks for the experience.

Went to Fortes as I promised my husband a knickerbocker glory and they are very hard to find. Fortes had them. Just turned up with no booking. Service lovely staff smart and friendly. Knickerbocker glory was lovely I had waffle and a coffee. Fab you get your moneys worth there. Would go again

First time to fortes. Food was really lovely we had a light lunch wraps. Our waiter Sam was really lovely very chatty and so helpful. We liked it that much that we went back 3 days on the run. And Sam looked after us each time. I think we have found our new place to eat in llandudno. All brilliant staff and the restaurant is spotlessly clean

Stayed in Llandudno for four days and ate here every day. Service was excellent, the food was good and prices were fair. Its best to wait to be shown to a table so staff know you need to be served. The staff are friendly, helpful, efficient and happy to have a laugh with customers. Cannot wait to go back!
