Great little cafe in Penrhyn Bay. Lovely for morning coffee! We haven't been for an evening meal yet but will definitely be returning.

All I can say is “wow” this place is truly amazing!! The food is homemade, hot, delicious and plentiful. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff they’re all fantastic and we are always well looked after, in particular by Cheryl and Emily. My friend is gluten free and the chefs went out of their way to cater for her and offered many different options too. I highly recommend this place, I will be returning!!! Thank you team Home from Home.

Food was fantastic as it always is! Service is always warm and friendly. I had the cheese ham and pineapple toastie which was very tasty. Others on the table had an omelette, full English and a teacake. Everyone enjoyed their food. Only downside was there was no baby changing facilities but we will definitely be returning!!

Visited to bring my parents out to celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary. It was very much worth the 60 mile drive. The food is exceptionally good and with no notice the chef was kind enough to offer two fresh vegan options. Freshly prepared and piping hot, one of the best meals I have had. Staff are attentive and quietly efficient, nothing is too much trouble. Service is delivered with genuine warmth. A wonderful visit, would highly recommend :)

Service was pleasant, albeit slow as they were so busy with only 2 staff members working “front of house”. (From what we seen in the hour we were there) Food:- nice a bit over salted. Cleanliness:- not detailed work, it’s obvious to the eye things aren’t clean, restaurant wise. I can’t speak for the kitchen, nor did I use the W/C. Underwhelmed altogether.

We were staying at Rhos on Sea for a few days and after reading reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to go there and try Sunday lunch. 3 had roast pork and 1 had the chicken pie.It was all very nice. The restaurant was clean and staff friendly and the menu had plenty of choices. We would recommend it

Visited twice in 7 days. Very friendly service. Excellent food and drink choices. Prices value for what was served up. Cosy restaurant. Highly reccomend a visit. On a Sunday choice of a roast.

Once again our ladies group returned and as always we had a wonderful Sunday lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful and friendly team. Although busy, as usual on a Sunday our meals were cooked and presented beautifully. This restaurant is a real gem and certainly is one of the best we eat at in the Conwy area. If you get the chance eat here but best to book well ahead for it is hugely popular with locals. Thank you.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Conwy County! Wonderful decor and fabulous friendly welcome on arrival. Service throughout is sublime but the food...well we started with the classic Prawn Cocktail - old fashioned I know but a beautiful fresh dish of ample proportion - great start!! Next the chicken pie and haddock with chips etc. So well cooked and presented! Just ?. Despite being well full, we had to have dessert ? just delicious. Very reasonable prices for superb food and service - would highly recommend as clearly good chefs involved here - local eateries need to beware!! Thank you to all - we'll be back very soon!?

Visited 5th of March with my grandparents. As soon as we walked in, the staff were so lovely and welcoming. We were shown to a nine table and the wonderful lady who served us took our order straight away which was great. Starters were gorgeous, mains were great and dessert was delicious. Amazing all round, we enjoyed every course and will definitely be visiting again! Well done to all of the front of house and kitchen staff! You’ve put done yourselves!! x

My family and I came in for the Christmas menu a week or so ago and I have not stopped thinking about the food! It was so lovely, looked gorgeous and the service was so attentive. We even had the pleasure to thank the chefs and they were as lovely as ever. Although we came in at a quieter time, we were treated as though everyone was on high alert to make our dinner amazing. Unfortunately only have pictures of the sticky toffee pudding as it literally took my breath away. Owner was as kind as ever and ended up having a great birthday present for my mum by buying their vouchers. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ALL YEAR ROUND! Thank you again!

Our party of three attended the restaurant for a mid-week early evening dinner. We were not dining from the Christmas menu. The food ( pan-fried chicken breast & gammon ) was very good and I can understand why this restaurant does have glowing reviews. However, for us, the food was unmatched by the table service which lacked finesse. The menu states "if you have a dietary restriction" please speak to your server. We asked for for 'fried egg' to be substituted for a 'poached egg' but was told no - the restaurant was too busy to facilitate this request. At the time of asking, the restaurant was less than 2/3 full. And even if the restaurant was busy, I am sure a trained chef could poach one egg with their hands tied behind their back. Conclusion - good food, mediocre service and not able to accommodate the most rudimentary of dietary requests even though this is suggested, if not stated, on the menu. I would not recommend this eatery.
