Booked there for a birthday meal in the restaurant. Not as good an experience as have had in past visits there. Service was patchy, and some of the dishes served bore little resemblance to what was described on the menu. One meal was not eaten. Somewhat dissapointing.

Came for Christmas dinner with our coffee club, the food was magnificent, so much that my husband has booked for a meal on my birthday in January so looking forward to getting back.

Great food. I don't comment often but this place was great. we went for a 90 B'day and the quality of the salmon and prawns to start and the lamb (so tender) for mains was top class.

Just had Sunday lunch. Magnificent. Best we’ve had anywhere in ages. So efficiently run and staff friendly & welcoming. Wish we were on Anglesey for another one so we could try other menu options

Nice place, very quiet despite being close to the main road. Friendly / helpful staff. My room was fine, comfy bed. The bathroom was a bit tired & the basin was tiny. The evening meal was OK, my belly pork was slightly dry. The breakfast was very nice.

Had a family meal in the conservatory for 13 people. Service was fantastic and the food was unbelievable. They catered well to vegetarians and vegans. The soup starter had such a good flavour and was served with a soft warm bread roll. The tomato risotto was also very flavoursome and a perfect portion size. The vegan chocolate truffle was the highlight for me as it was so creamy and I would even say it’s one of the best vegan desserts i’ve ever had.
