We came to Abbey Farm Bistro for my partners birthday and had a really wonderful meal. We had 3 courses and all were fabulous, terrific Sunday roast! Would thoroughly recommend! ?

Stopped off here during a walk for a coffee. Didn't have a meal but menu looked good. Pleasant staff & surroundings. Would definitely go back for a meal.

First impressions of the campsite was that it was beautiful to look at and then it went downhill from there. We were put on a plot that can only be described as a toilet car park which was looking straight into the men’s toilets! We managed to face the caravan the other way and block it with our car but we could still smell them. Music playing till early hours in the morning my friends tried to complain but nobody answered the phone. A beautiful Abbey in the middle which is closed over the weekend so you can’t go in. The toilets were only cleaned once a day and wasn’t till about 10am so we’re unusable in the mornings as they were that disgusting from a full campsite and rubbish flushing toilets. We left a day early as I couldn’t bare it any longer and needed a good night sleep and clean bathroom, we won’t be going back!

Lovely location and friendly staff. Showers were disappointing with many campers complaining of cold water and poor water pressure. The cubicles were small with no seating and only one hook so difficult to get dry. Aside from that, the site is pretty and we had a lovely meal in the Bistro
Absolutely fantastic experience. Called last minute and spoke to a lovely helpful lady who helped get me booked in for the night before we arrived. Popped into the check in cabin on arrival to be greeted by the same lady, she was so welcoming and helpful, I’m new to camper van life and she was very patient with all my questions and informative. There wasn’t much available for this stay as I was last minute so I stayed in the field that was a little bit water logged but was assured the site warden would help me out should I get stuck (I didn’t, VERY proud of myself) but seen other people being helped off with no issues. The view was AMAZING and we called in the bistro for food which was nice and enjoyed a milkshake from the fresh vending machine. Dogs had a lovely time too and were made very welcome. Fantastic location with walks/restaurants/and shops nearby. Throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return and book a pitch by the stream next time.

I absolutely love Abbey Farm the scenery and the people staff and visitors alike. I was very sad to witness the appalling way a young couple chose to treat the lovely bistro staff last weekend manners cost nothing. I was unsuprised to see and hear the respectful and professional way the bistro staff tried to please these people to no avail though visibly shaken these girls kept smiling and doing there jobs bravo girls you are amazing

Beautiful site shame about the staff! Absolutely shocking customer service , never met anyone taking money from customers so rude in my life! Shouting in my husbands face when he asked about our food order. Very unprofessional business manners , my children has to witness the rudeness of the staff and we’re very upset and made us all feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome will not recommend or return. Sort your staff out and would be a great site ??
