A wonderful little find, six golfing widows had a lovely lunch in this quaint little coffee shop, the host was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even popped to the local shop for me when I asked for something she hadn’t got. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious, surroundings beautiful in her little garden, will definitely be returning next time the men play golf. But don’t take my word for it, check it out.

Overpriced cold, stale food, very little selection, total let down. I ordered coffee which tasted like water. I asked for babycinnos for my children and was served milky coffee! I had to explain that babycinnos are meant to be plain milk because they're for children! The cake came straight out of the fridge and tasted stale. The milk for the tea was served cold. We ordered scones which arrived with a teeny pot of jam barely enough to cover quarter of the scone. I ordered a cheese panini without any of the sides for my picky eater of a son but was charged full price. The only plus was the pretty tea sets and vintage vibe.

Lovely tea room just off the main road. We precooked as had a day trip and didn’t want to miss out and it was as good as the reviews. The tea room has so much character with lovely details and beautiful China. All our food was home made and sandwiches fresh to order. The finer details like fresh garnishes make such a difference as everything was well thought through. Staff were really attentive and so friendly. We felt very looked after! If you can get in you won’t be disappointed!

I had the most amazing cake made for my daughters 14th birthday. I didn't give much notice and the cake was outstanding and hand delivered and much appreciated, enjoyed and devoured. It was a handmade lemon drizzle with raspberries between the layers decorated with meringues and golden oroes. The price was so reasonable and the service and communication exceptional. Superb skills. Very talented. Thanks so much.

What a find! This fabulous find is just off the High Street. The food was delicious and all sourced locally. Two of us had the mozzarella and roasted veg jacket potato and the other had the goats cheese and roasted veg panini. The roasted veg was exquisite especially the mushrooms. Ran by a mother and daughter duo, whose sense of humour was refreshing and nothing was too much trouble. Even when one of our party asked for a glass of white wine, the owner popped to the shop to buy a very nice bottle of white. We were made to feel very welcome and would love to return to sample the afternoon tea. Thank you for a lovely experience and afternoon!

My wife and I enjoy afternoon teas of all prices in a variety of settings, This tearoom sets the standard for good sandwiches of your choice with homemade cakes and scones. Quality and good portions put many fancy hotel settings to shame.
Booked on for afternoon tea, we checked that our dog was allowed and she was? The sandwiches were freshly made to order and delicious, it’s not fast food as it’s all made to order but the lovely interesting decor is great while you wait with a nice pot of tea. Sandwiches were well worth waiting for and the cakes were all amazing and baked by the owner - outstanding sponge cake ! I can’t comment on the very ample chocolate fudge cake and lemon sponge as I was too full so brought them home for a treat later ? Excellent value , lovely surroundings and friendly service - what more can you ask for ?! Yum

Where to start.....well, a couple of people had recommended this tea room to us, and boy am I glad I listened. Upon walking into the tea room we were greeted by friendly smiles from the staff even though they looked rushed off their feet. We were sat pretty quick in a quaint corner of the tea room and handed menus. Plenty of choice from cakes to sandwiches to lunches. Delicious fresh food made on the day. Wonderful service and our dog was welcomed too. Will 100% be returning and recommending to others. Well worth the 40 minute journey. By far the friendliest, welcoming and tastiest place for miles. Thanks for having us and see you again
