Beautiful food after a lovely walk . I would reccomend the Sunday roast with Welsh beef, just a bit pink and melt in your mouth. It was gorgeous! The kids enjoyed their meal also chicken gousions with chips and peas. The pudding were divine . The views were really nice too.

Great location at the river with a nice view from some areas in the restaurant. Some great food classics like fish and chips. Very friendly staff, but unfortunately longer wait than expected for the food as it was very busy. With hungry kids quite challenging.

Booked online for new years eve, about 24 hours before.Staff all lovely, and served by a number of different people. Venison and wild boar pasty Starter was small but delicious. Roast Welsh beef dinner was nice although not as good as I'd hoped. Beef WAS lovely.A little expensive but nice food and great service.Aled was especially helpful waiting on my table. Special thanks to him

We were slightly late due to roads & maps. Very accommodating on arrival staff were all warm & friendly. We had starters & mains and we came away very satisfied. The starters were slightly on the small side but the mains made up the difference so all was well. Longish Wait between starters & mains but it is Christmas so we expected that. Very enjoyable very nice highly recommended place to go.

I have been here a few times and have really enjoyed the food, and I've nearly always chosen the shoulder of lamb and it's beem fantastic. I last went there at the end of Novwmber and opted for the Sicilain seafood stew, as I'd had a few meat-heavy days previously. I was seriously disappointed. The broth in the stew left a really bitter aftertaste in my mouth, my wife tasted it and she fully agreed. It was as if the chef had failed to counterbalance the bitterness of the tomatoes in it - and I'm pretty sure it was tinned chopped tomatoes, hence the overpowering bitterness. I basically just fished the seafood and fish pieces out of the broth, wiped the broth off them with a napkin and ate them, leaving the broth untouched. I gave feedback to the waitress and she offered me some bread (that must be the policy in terms of responding to dissatisfaction) and she said that the chef would take the comments on board. Interestingly, she also said that she'd had the same dish a few days before and had a similar experience. I was like, thanks for the pre-warning! Another member of staff gave a minimal discount when we paid (the equivalent of a couple of drinks maybe). In hindsight, I should have rejected the dish on tasting the broth but hindsight is a fine thing. I would advise anyone thinking of eating here to avoid this specific dish and to take the fish and chips instead - it looked great. I should add that my wife had rump steak au poivre and she was delighted with her meal, and I also enjoyed my dessert, having opted for the hot drink and half dessert combo.

Great food, really tasty and well cooked. Meals are well thought through and presented very aesthetically. The service was really friendly, very attentive, and prompt. It was a very busy night when we went and normally places struggle when they are so busy, but it absolutely did not effect the staff or their service which is incredible. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub and it felt very friendly and safe.Highly recommend the chocolate torte and lots of local or independent breweries on tap which is awesome.

Popped in for a quick drink after walking up to Dinas Bran. Food menu looked good, maybe next time! Great views over the rapids and a large outside seating area.

The burger and the sponge dessert were really nice. The toffee pudding was a little too sweet and the mashed peas was just alright. Service was excellent!

Superb restaurant and bar in a convert Cornhill that has retained many original features. As its located down a small side street right by the river it could be easily missed, but it's well worth finding. Food and setting were excellent. We where lucky enough to have a table right by the window overlooking the river. Really can't compliment the corn mill enough for their food and setting, we are already looking for an excuse to return. The only the speed of service really let them down, even deserts and coffees took ages to arrive, despite the abundance of staff. Luckily the food is worth waiting for.Reservation is a must.

Massively understaffed! Ordered our food and waited 1hr15mins for it to arrive. Complained after an hour and was assured it would arrive within the next 10 minutes. Food was basic to say the least. We were sat outside, we’d booked a table inside but it was a nice day so opted to go outside. People were coming and going and tables were not being cleaned. We sat with other people’s glasses on our table for a good hour and watched others with plates, sauces, cutlery, glasses etc sat on their table. Not good! Loads of wasps too, not clearing tables did not help the matter. I wouldn’t visit again. Not sure what the hype is about.
