Just watched a you tube video suggesting your drinks are priced depending on whether your a local or a tourist. Would you like to comment?

A lovely warm meal after a cold, wet and windy walk. There were 10 of us, and we all really enjoyed the food. Good hearty grub and great service! Thank you!

Had a delicious lunch today of home-made steak pie with great pastry, gravy, fresh veg and chips at The Telford. Lovely attentive bar-man and owner. Dog friendly venue. ??

Nice place to sit after a walk along the canal however had no real ale (ran out) no cider on tap (didn't have it) so ended up getting something else I didn't really want as I was in a queue. Didn't appear very clean in the bar area. The outside seemed run down too. Two pints of fosters and a coke £12.80, a bit steep considering. Doubt we'll return which is a shame as it has the potential to be a really nice pub if some money was spent on paint etc.

Absolutely Love this place. Fantastic hosts. The food delicious and great value. If you are close my here be sure to stop. You won't regret it. To add to all that, it is pet friendly too.Well done to all the lovely staff .

Fantastic home-made steak pie and chips - proper school dinners style slice - and very friendly staff. All in a nice location adjacent to the canal. Worth a visit if in the area.

First time here and it was a truly enjoyable experience and visit. The building itself is turn-of- C18 Georgian and probably listed and not bad as a house for the Telford's supervising engineer of the canal, wow!The views of the canal, Trevor Basin, the canal boats and the Welsh hills in the background are to die for!Telford Inn is cosy and comfortable, outdoor seating and although we didn't have a meal, the menu looked great. And most importantly, it's a Freehouse. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and amazing and a big thank you to Leila and Meghan. Well done and definitely will be back.Recommend a visit to this wonderful, historic pub restaurant as you won't be disappointed!

A quaint pub in a perfect location when viewing the aqueduct (especially when paying for parking all day). The food is lovely with very big servings for the price (done the right way).Plenty of seating outside, however, these are standard picnic benches and some disabled may struggle to get in and out.

We had liver and bacon with chips instead of the mash today and it was absolutely DELICIOUS XXX?? the only problem is DONT have a starter because the portions are HUGE !!One of the best pub meals I have had in a long time ! And the service was top class too !! FAULTLESS ???

Weekend away this is the second time we have called in for a meal ,yes it could do with upgrading, but on both occasions the food has been spot on absolutely tasty, menu has a good selection, and staff friendly , our only complaint would be the fact it was a Saturday night and no bottles of wine a bit weird being a pub.

Tatty, and outdated pub run under poor standards. It’s a great location and a shame it’s not under professional management. The smell when you walk in, dirty carpets, wine limited to small Stowells bottles says it all! Not a clue! Menu is like something from the 1980’s and when you see the cook, when he pops out you’d say ‘wow how clean is that kitchen?’. Exterior the benches are generally ok but not maintained, one we sat on and the whole seat was rotten and dangerous .but owners like this never invest anything. If you’re ok with average food and like some good beers then fine. But as my standards are higher this one is a miss.

8 of us dined in today after some white water rafting. Great food, very friendly service. The steak pie was insane, order it ?

I had the steak pie with chips mixed veg and gravy. The meal was a generous portion. The pie had lots of big pieces of steak. But unfortunately I found the pie to be tasteless.
