“Staying a mile from this pub and decided to have a drink there with a view to booking the restaurant if we liked it! The pub is in a lovely village, has a bar area where you can eat or a pleasant restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and we managed to get a table without having booked. (Booking advised). A small menu but something to suit everyone. It was very relaxed, a group of 5/6? Already having a meal and some booked in the bar. The atmosphere was excellent, lots of chatter and laughing. Food excellent, not rushed, we will definitely go again next year and strongly recommend it.”
