5/5- We popped in for a cuppa and some breakfast. Lovely friendly cafe, fantastic homemade food, great atmosphere. Warm and welcoming. We come to Wales every Christmas and love finding new place to eat and go exploring. This cafe will definitely be returning too! It’s a hidden gem- check out Michelle’s photography skills too- I wanted to buy all her prints, very talented-

This cafe epitomizes excellence in every aspect - from its delectable cuisine and exceptional service, to its inviting atmosphere and warm staff. What sets it apart is its celebration of the rich heritage of Cilgerran village and its inhabitants. Adorned with stunning portraits for sale, as well as breathtaking landscapes, this cafe truly captures the essence of the community.

Lovely ladies and lovely cakes. We often go here for lunch when in the area. However a recent visit left a sour taste, caused by an idiot cook / server. On the next table was a young woman with her parents. She was obviously local because when the cook came out with their lunch he began to talk to her. He asked if it was her camper van which had been parked on the street nearby for some weeks. She said yes and he asked why it hadn't moved - she said it had exhaust problems and she was saving up to have it repaired. So far, OK - a reasonable chat. But he kept on, saying it was not worth much, tax was high, insurance was high. The lady was getting upset and I heard her say she had it for years, it was a limited edition and she loved it. But he kept on. Both the lady and her parents asked him to back off as they wanted to eat. He still kept on, actually leaning on the mother, saying he bought and sold cars and knew what he was talking about. In the end they left before they had finished, and I saw the lady outside crying. I think that this idiot has lost the cafe a local customer and I don't feel that I want to go back myself.

Great little coffee shop near Cilgerran Castle so it does get busy. Lovely home made cakes and scones and excellent coffee, all served by good staff and at sensible prices. Definitely worth a look if you visit the Castle or just in the village.

A great place to stop for coffee, dogs are not allowed in but are certainly welcome in the outside area. My two Border Collies were treated to a couple of slices of ham. As a treat for being cute. Very friendly people worth a visit

Customer service was excellent with very friendly and talkative staff. Food was very tasty and staff were happy to make adjustments to toastie fillings. Not fancy dining, but just what we needed - an excellent cafe.
