“An updated review since the pub that is now my local on the corner has since coming under new ownership a few years ago become a busy clean and airy welcoming place to have a beer and also a pizza and a pint in a Friday night. Have yet to try the Sunday lunch but on the go do list. Keep up the great work MR R. (The only pub in Neyland land my fiance had never been in. they had no tonic for her hint no draught bitter. the pub was grotty. And the toilets do no bear mentioning. a result as far as I am concerned as. she never wants to go in there again.this was review from ten years ago).”

“A hidden gem on the quayside. The food is prepared and presented to a very high standard. The staff are helpful and friendly. An ideal place if you don’t want burgers or pizza and want good tasting proper food. We had the lamb rump and the hake dishes and can highly recommend both.Vegetarian options: The restaurant also has a full vegetarian menu and separate dining area.Parking: Lots of free parking on the adjacent Mackerel Quay”
