Sadly the coffee order was wrong.. waited for soup to arrive and it tasted like the whole salt container had fallen in it..left as it was appalling. Not left a negative review regarding eatery before so I am as disappointed as having to and you will be at what you dished up. Devils soup was disgusting and just a bowl of dishwater with salt as it other ingredient.

After a lovely walk to Devils Gorge, we stopped for a pot of tea and found to our surprise a great menu offering a range of snacks and meals. I chose the cheese on toast, which was delicious and a very generous portion size with a lovely side salad and extremely tasty chutney. The perfect end to a lovely walk. Thank you

Waited for more than 20 minutes in queue to be able to order. At the end I got only cakes to avoid to wait other 30 minutes for food.

Lady behind the counter (who seemed to be in charge) was really rude. Go to the pub across the road

Really nice place to visit after a walk and good value.

Had lunch there always nice, but today asked for scrambled egg on toast not too runny but it came almost liquid. Fortunately someone else on our table swapped their dinner for mine.

Grabbed an oat milk cappuccino for my partner to drink during our walk - he stated it was the “worst coffee” he has ever had and having taken a sip myself I had to agree. Barista also seemed put out by my asking for a lid. Didn’t fancy scolding myself whilst walking. Also drink prices weren’t noticeably visible, think I may have been overcharged.
A lovely friendly cafe, the staff are wonderful and work so hard to ensure you have the best time. The cakes are delicious we would visit just for them!

Visited today, 29th October 2023, and well what can I say. The service is exceptionally slow with one person serving and four people in the back. I would like to say preparing hot food orders, but as it took 30 minutes to take my order and the people in front me only ordering hot drinks and cakes I have no idea what they were doing. The comical bit was when the lady came to serve hot food to a table near us she stated I think this is the vegetarian option and handed the food to the customer. No apology for the delay. People walked away so they must miss so much trade. Such a shame

Very tasty homemade bread. Enjoyed by vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Great coffee and cakes!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sausage, vegan vegetarian cooked breakfast, wraps, soup etc.
