A few days before Christmas when there were no trolleys, my shopping experience was made easier by an amazing staff member that i have found out was a lad named Charlie. He went above and beyond at a busy time when he could see i was struggling. Charlie took my purchase to the car and even asked if i had help the other end. I hope the Manager sees this and he gets the praise needed. Lovely to see a young man with such respect. Charlie Thankyou xxxxx

Café in Asda Newport Spytty, 60s and over meal deal...Soup with bread and unlimited hot drinks, for £1... is awesome. Just what I needed on a cold day. Before starting shopping around Asda.

Most probably the worst toasted sandwich I've tasted when visited today. Supposed to be turkey with pigs in blankets. Turkey ended up as processed wafer thin slices and pigs in blankets unedible. Also one member of staff on duty trying hard to serve and clean restaurant.

Managed to get everything I needed. Staff friendly and helpful.

A very large Asda Living shop split over two levels. They sell men's, women's and children's clothing downstairs, as well as toiletries and a small Claire's section. Upstairs, they offer a wide variety of household goods including decorations, electronics, bedding, books, DVDs and more. The upstairs area is also home to a welcoming in-store cafe. The store is also quite accessible for those with mobility needs with plenty of space between aisles. There is an escalator and set of stairs at the front of the shop as well as a lift further back. There's only one escalator though and it takes you up to the first floor so you would either need to use the stairs or the lift to go back down. There are a also couple of disabled parking spaces near the shop entrance but these are a little further away than the other shops at the retail park as there is a small public area with benches outside the shop entrance. The shop is usually clean and tidy and all the staff members we've spoken to have always been very friendly and helpful, even at busier times. It's also quite refreshing to see a decent men's clothing section which isn't limited to just a handful of items. They also offer free click and collect for orders placed on their website which offers an even wider selection.
