Absolutely fabulous place to have a coffee break here! I have visited this place like 50 times so far and is always a pleasure to be here! The coffee drinks are amazing. It looks a bit pricey for the first sight, but when you meet and being served by the gorgeous, professional staff….! ♥️Thank you so much for being a perfect example of great, valuable hospitality to follow!Thank you Timi, Alex, Ruksaar, Shan, Lily, Taz, Shelby and the rest I didn’t have a nice chat yet! ???

Needs new management. The staff aren't trained in customer service, nor the Costa standards with drinks. No hello, no smile. Near £4 for a reused shot and burnt milk? Honestly the workers should be ashamed of themselves treating patients and NHS workers like that every day.

I visited the Costa inside the Royal Gwent hospital. It was so cosy! I sat on a sofa to read and had a chocolate orange hot chocolate. It was gorgeous, so I had another one ?instead of stressing while waiting for my partner I was warm, comfy and enjoying the nicest hot chocolate I've ever drank

Looove this place, great coffee, great hot chocolate. The staff are lovely, they are very hard working and never complain. Paul knows what I'm having before I get there. Paul's great but everyone who works with him are lovely people who don't deserve the amount of abuse they sometimes have to take... Love you all and good luck with everything that you do ❤️

The girl refused to serve my coffee in a China cup I have progressive Carabral Palsy and am in a wheelchair. She told me on my next visit to come with a carer so my carer could feed me. The outcome was she was disaplined, "A level of Disapline" by management. She should have been sacked, she committed "A HATE CRIME" She humiliated me in front of everyone. ? The person who was my go to, "A JASON LYNDSEY'" phoned me with the outcome. I was upset that the member of staff wasn't sacked as Costa has a "ZERO TOLERANCE" policy against customers but clearly not against themselves. I told Jason Lyndsey I would be going to the police with "Hate Crime" Jason said he would talk to the Police, He has BLOCKED my number!!!

Lovely little Costa if you need a snack and drink whilst visiting or waiting at the hospital. The staff are lovely and helpful. There was a great selection of sandwiches, toasties and cakes. I had a chicken and bacon toastie which was delicious. The English breakfast tea was really nice and piping hot.Very comfortable seating area, worth a timeout if you are in the hospital.

All sandwiches out of date, cakes full of flys, drinks not fizzy+ warm, hygiene is non existent, staff is absolutely ignorant especially the little skinny man with short gray hair was so rude smelt of B-O and cigarettes. The floor looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. No gloves and they’re all playing with the food. Dirty place. Definitely not recommend coming here.

Absolutely discussed with the ignorant staff and cleanliness of the place. There are flies all over the cakes and pastries , the staff are rude and look like they hate it there as much as I did . Do not use this place unless you want food poisoning. Even one of the staff looked like she hadn’t washed for a year !!!!

I would like to say the urology day centre here are fantastic !!! Had a orchidectomy here on 04/12/20 feeling very anxious and they made the whole experience less stress And actually enjoyable They took covid very seriously and the place was spotlessly clean To name a few and sorry if I forgot anyone by name Sophie and Rachael and the anesetic team - wow what a bunch of people I felt more like they were my good friends than doctors absolutely amazing group Adam Bennett my consultant again was amazing and reassured me from the first moment I met him to the little visit to recovery room afterwards Sally in recovery - had a right laugh and chat with her really professional and lovely Finally Kevin the Porter - what a guy really friendly professional and a really great guy The nurses on the ward afterwards also were excellent There may have been some bad press about this place but I would like to just say from my experience I’d chose them every time ! Thankyou to everyone there from the bottom of my heart

I recently visited the hospital and went into the coffee shop for my lunch. The cafe was lovely and clean, the staff were very friendly and took care of me whilst on my visit. There were plenty of hand sanitising stations around the store for me to use and the staff were cleaning regularly. It was great to get out of the house for the first time in a while and have a friendly atmosphere to enjoy. A little break from reality.

Good coffee and friendly staff but rarely have any sandwiches left. As soon as the snacks are delivered they're gone! Its a busy coffee shop - order more stock!! Not difficult.

Not happy with the way you get spoken to, its almost 6 oclock and they have started to close off off parts. Where you can sit down and have a chat. The one lady with gray hair keeps giving myself and my partner drity looks even though we are not doing anything wrong. The people who work in costa coffee in the royal gwent need to be FIRED i will not be coming here again!! The new owner who is now @coca cola Please make a change to this shop.
