I was fortunate enough to visit this place this Thursday just gone as I fancied a spot of lunch. From the get go I was impressed. I was greeted by a very lovely member of staff who proceeded to show me to a table following some questions regarding my requirements. Once sat, the member of staff informed me that there were new additions to the menu which I was delighted to hear as I always like to keep things fresh and try new things. After a few minutes perusing the new menu I decided to go for the cauliflower curry. I was a little concerned that it may be a little too spicy but the girl was very helpful and well informed which put me at ease. The curry came out around 10 mins later and it looked and smelt delicious. I was asked if I needed anything else and told to let them know if there were any issues which there were not. Well, the curry didn't last long, it was so delicious I just couldn't stop eating it ? . Overall my experience was fantastic. Great service, great food and brilliant atmosphere. I will be visiting again very soon to try out the rest of the new menu.

Absolutely fantastic experience overall. Staff is friendly and helpful. They accommodated us (family of 3) during very busy hours without booking. Food is delicious and comes in big portions. Close to shops and high street. Multi-storey car park ?️ is a minute walk away. Suitable for family with kids. Will go there again!

I come to Drago lounge all the time and it is my favourite place in Newport. The staff are always so kind and friendly and the service is amazing. Drinks and food are always wonderful and Gunner is an amazing staff member. Could not recommend more! The manager is also super kind and considerate. Go go go!

Super charming cafe bar that is very dog friendly! Ambience is wonderful with the walls covered in eclectic paintings and ceilings with lots of hanging lights, perfect place for a relaxed evening and good conversations. Staff are very friendly, and stop to have a chat. Menu is extensive with lots of vege options and tasty food and drinks. We got burgers this time and the halloumi in mine was perfectly cooked with flavours well balanced.

As always a warm welcome from the amazing Sab (Management). This place is our go to now when we do eat out especially as it caters so well for food allergies. All the staff are lovely. Sab and team are a credit to their employers. See you all again soon.

The restaurant is very dog-friendly. They provided a bowl of water for each dog with dog treats. I’d love to visit again with my dog.)
Come here regularly because it's so relaxed and the food is great. Staff are always helpful - particularly Gunner and Sabry. The atmosphere is comfortable and chilled. They cater for all ages and is dog friendly too! I know I'll be back. Definitely 5 stars ?

Been here a few times with family and friends for birthdays and catch ups and it never disappoints!! Lovely restaurant with just as lovely staff. Cosy and funky decor and the menu has so many options which is amazing (coming from someone who is plant based) . Each time the food and drinks have been well presented and tasty. The staff are super helpful and quick to correct any mistakes (if there are any which is rare) and always go the extra mile for you. If I lived closer I would certainly spend a lot more time there, well worth a visit!! Thank you to all the staff, chefs and management you’ve made many good memories for us! (I still think about the halloumi burger lol)

Had a one night stay in Newport, stopped in Drago Lounge for dinner. 2 adults 2 children. Great kids menu. Colouring and quiz to entertain the children when waiting for food. Gorgeous tapas menu. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend
