The duck was excellent. Never tried the gaff before but wanted to check out a new place since the usual one I use went downhill. Read some of the reviews and gave it a shot. Absolutely spot on. Will be backMy complements to the chef and kitchen crew. They know what they're doing.
Best Chinese in Newport by far, had a few times before lockdown and it was great, then they seemed to stay shut for much longer than other takeaways, tried a few others and none of them compare, never had a bad word to say about the food from golden bowl

Had a bit of confusion when ordering the first dish (house special Thai chilli was actually sweet chilli sauce but we like spicy food). This was rectified immediately with a new dish being cooked for us and made extra spicy and delivered for free. It was delicious and customer service was awesome! Would definitely recommend!
