Best coffee shop in Newport!I have been visiting Quarters since they first opened and have loved every visit!Jack and the team are always friendly and welcoming and never fail to give you a warm welcome. The coffee is amazing and the avocado brunch is the best.Quarters is the perfect place to catch up with friends or take your laptop and catch up on some work!Cannot recommend Quarters enough!

A great looking space. In the heat, it almost feels like I am in Australia drinking coffee. I really can't say why though! The coffee was exceptionally bitter today which I don't mind in general and especially when it comes to independent coffee shops. I would go back and try a different bean on a different day though for sure!

Stumbled on this coffee shop walking the riverfront. Had amazing coffee, freshly ground & super doorstop toast.Good selection of drinks & light snacks.Pleasant staff. Lovely decor. Will definitely be back when in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy flat & level access direct from the riverfront walkway to outside tables. A large ramp to access inside. Toilets on ground floor. No steps.

Beautiful coffees, wonderful staff and tasty well priced food. What more do you want? Visit on home games and likely to see rugby or football players as well ? absolutely faultless!

Great place to visit, fantastic coffee and really good quality food.Wonderful location which is ideal for walking, wheeling or cycling too.The trees are probably your best bet for securing your bike, but make sure you have a long chain, as d-locks will struggle. You can sit outside to be close to your bike or most seats inside have a good view of the outside so you can concentrate on the coffee rather than worrying about your bike.Costs a bit more than some places but it's really worth it.

Unfortunately they were out of avocado ,so I couldn't have avo sandwich...,but I had buttermilk pancakes ( mid size ,3 pcs ) w/ yogurt & berries & cherries were good !! I had a pot of tea as well. They were a bit uncooked ,but not bad at all ! The view of Newport city footbridge from the coffee shop is wonderful ! Great location to daydreaming !! Lol. So many people are taking their dogs everywhere they go in Newport !! So good to see !! Two guys working here were friendly & they had a toilet inside which is very convenient / important to me ! Many restaurants/ cafes in Wales / England don't have toilets inside ( which is supposedly illegal in L.A. ) !!Even chain cafes & coffee shops !

The best coffee in Newport and maybe in UK. Very hard to find specialty coffee and filter coffee around. Very friendly staff!!!

Lovely brunch menu. Pancakes with ice cream was a treat for the 8year old! Tried to go again the following weekend with the 7year old, only to be told the ice cream machine was off for cleaning ? .. Ah well, now there's a good excuse for us to happily visit again!

My favourite coffee shop in Newport. Serves the best coffee, always with a smile and a warm welcome. The £7 all day hot drinks remote worker deal is brilliant when you need a break from the home office.

Shame no sofa seats, although place probably not big enough to accommodate such seating arrangements. Also everyone seems to struggle with the keypad lock to use the toilet, so should just remove completely. Other than that, great coffee and cake.

Jack and Esther are fab hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The location is spot on, with lovely views of the river, footbridge and Friars Walk. The coffee is quite possibly the best in South Wales, thanks to Northstar Roast. The WiFi is strong, fast and free. The cakes/pastries are baked to perfection. The brunch menu is amazing, especially the BBQ sweet potato and chorizo bake - my new comfort food!

Just dropped in for brunch and it was brilliant. Great coffee and pancakes. Friendly baristas and arcade fire playing in the background. And great location by the river and footbridge. Will certainly be back again
